Is there a game where we concretely know that was the case? or is it just inferred that Toss forgot because he stopped probing at 12 or whatever supply that happens at.


Nah, it's a joke. I think some random guy at an MLG open bracket tried it against State. Because it was put on stream, that poor fellow will live forever in infamy. A better example might be blocking your expansion with a pylon or something (San back in GSL 2011), but it's less common now in the current HotS meta now that FFE isn't too common.

It has to have happened, though I'd rather say I was going for a shitty nexus first than cop to it.


If I'm recalling correctly, it was Gaulzi (Nevermind. It was Weedamins?), the cannon rush master, which is why it was so hilarious.

In the game at MLG, the guy already had planted the pylons in State's main, then realized his collosal mistake

My brain ould remind me of that everyday.

Happy just isn't on Snute's level. That's the tricky thing about showmatches: For a successful showmatch, you ideally want to find 2 players who are very close in skill level so that there is a close series (more games, more content, arguably better content). But it's tricky to find 2 players at the high levels of play who are closely matched.

This could have been slated a while ago, but I wouldn't say Happy was there with Snute in TvZ in the last 6 months plus. a TvT showmatch could be fun with Happy, but this is just two people on different levels.
