I think SSanaEE was said to go there somewhere, you're right about the others though. Still, I can't think of anyone coming to Europe this season and in NA at least Balloon, Ryung, JYP (at least after not being at Code B) were expected.

Depends on your definition of "that well". Elfi had a few top 6/top 8 DH last year and for example defeated Golden and Patience last weekend at Copenhagen Games.

Thing is, that elfi is always one to fight for good results at tournaments (which hes gotten fairly often) when Jonnyrecco finished even top 32, when was the last time?

I've said it before an I'll say it again. JonnyREcco is extremely underrated. He took out HyuN in the ATC Season 3 qualifiers for Vega Squadron and almost followed it up by taking out MC. He's an extremely good player.

It's pretty clear that ByuN has stopped playing and is just "keeping his options open" for a comeback by not announcing it. He's not even playing in the Code A qualifiers.

the thing is that outside of the "patchzerg" phase, JohnnyRecco has close to no results to speak of. so a player of similar results beating him does not seem to be a big upset. no offense to Demuslim but if you rate him above JR based on HotS results it speaks volumes to Jonny's lack of results.

He was Protoss for multiple years, switched to terran for 2 weeks and than retired as a proffessional player and does whatever he wants now. But like 90% of his career he was already protoss.
