As if it was going to matter, he was dead as soon as he decided to late SCV scout + no depot up there. ofc it matters. you can outmicro 2 zealots with scvs and reaper without losing much. meanwhile build marines and a bunker. you can try to make something happen. but he was way too nervous to do anything at this point. You know how much it takes for a reaper to kill a zealot. As I said, only way he stops this is having a depot close to the ramp so HerO never even tries that proxy He would maybe hold but he would still be too much behind at that point. but he couldve tried. scv micro vs zealots is not that hard, you maybe lose 3-4 vs 2 zealots, thats it - even without the reaper. not saying it wouldve been easy from this point, especially vs hero, but not canceling reactor / lifting everything / send all workers to the natural is certainly a sign of complete nervousness Please. You need to pull away 2 SCVs at the same time in a 1.2 ingame seconds interval. want me to show u replays? lol. ive held 3 zealots at a time with probes only before, losing about 4 probes. and im no ForGG... My remark was aimed at the "it's not that hard" part. Of course it's possible to hold without even one SCV loss, but that's certainly not simple.

Besides, what is stopping HerO from chronoing a stalker after those 2 reapers? He already had a cyber core. ForGG was dead, it was just a build order loss that is it. Yes he could have put the supply depot at the ramp, he probably didn't because the ramp is so far away but I think it is a good trade-off to stop shit like in - base proxy gateway. So that was a mistake by ForGG. But after that there is not really much he could have done better. kill zealots with SCVs. send back reaper. build a bunker immediatly while building marines. probably try to kill pylon with scvs meanwhile, not sure how the pylon was positioned (how many scvs couldve attacked) to decide wheather its worth attacking it or not. with a bunker and constant 1 marine production, it is possible to hold. he would be behind from that point on obviously. if you put maru or innovation in that situation forgg was in, they probably hold. not sure if still watchable, but worker micro is acutally pretty easy http://drop.sc/366586

As I said, best chances for ForGG would be if he simply put a depot close to the ramp to spot the probe. The game would look completely different in that case. Also, as far as I know, it is much more standard to check your whole base in PvP than in TvP,terrans just don't do that against protoss (not saying they shouldn't, but that is just the way it is). HerO probably knows that and that is why he went for such build.
