Ok, it's time to say it.

I haven't seen the games today, nor Naniwa winning. But I've read the forum. Filled with shit about Naniwa "personality", "professionalism", and more. But not his games... Wait. What?

The only foreigner in the tournament left. The one of the only two foreigners who are still fighting to qualify for the global finals of WCS. The only one. And instead of people talking about his games the only things I see are excuses why some strangers from this forum don't like him. Is this a joke?!?! What the heck. Who the hell cares about you guys? You really think that your opinions matter? Really, do you have to post it here? Cannot you create an anti-fan club of Naniwa somewhere and keep crying there instead of crying in the main threads of all the tournaments in which Naniwa wins games?

Cause I'm sick of reading it here. Honestly. Damnit. Let's stick to the facts. And Naniwa keeps winning and may as well take this tournament. That's a damn fact.

Naniwa haters, you suck no less than Naniwa's rage.

Naniwa may not be 'professional'. But he is the only foreigner that works hard enough to compete. And for that I applaud him. I am rooting for him this tournament for sure. But Curious has been looking damn good.

What a fucking day. Oh my sweet lord I had such an amazing time, expect a lengthy blog with lots of photo's soon to come from this simple guy known as Probasaur to most on Twitch and on GinR chat on B.net.

Too tired to even begin, all I'm gonna say for now is that if you were watching the stream when Naniwa was playing San and you saw a guy in a Team Liquid Protoss shirt in the front row jumping up and down fist pumping every time Nani would win a game or heard him screaming Naniwa!!!!! Throughout the games just because fuck yeah I was watching my favorite player in the world play in front of me.... and those games were SOOO TENSE... yeah that was me. The restream is on now in case anyones watching and wants to see if they can spot me. I saw the camera start focusing on me after the first few times..... then some production guys came out from the back and threw me some glowsticks to wave around during one of the breaks hahaha.
Such a sick, sick, sick NYcity awesome day. Fuck yeah Starcraft.

I like people like you.

Dude Naniwa saw me before the games trying to get his attention but just kinda ignored me, I understood it tho completely. Kaelaris said even he doesn't try to talk to him before his games. Afterward he won and after he saw me in the front row jumping up and down going crazy he was super nice backstage shook my hand, took a picture, but most of all we had a brief conversation about his mindset during the games. It was an amazing experience, he's an eccentric guy.... he is also kindof shy and doesn't get off on the attention and just loves the game and loves to win. He doesn't like distractions either. (These are just my assumptions based on what I saw and what I've heard about him.... I don't know him that well)

(I'm way more excited and elated here than my face might show here.... okay... fine... I was trying to look cool with my hero next to me)

Great guy. I love the guy, not him personally cause I don't know him personally, but I love his play and I love the person I met today. He's a nice dude and I appreciate him greatly. Thanks so much for all your hard work and your passion for the game Naniwa, you reflect the same passion fans like myself have for it as well.

OH AND BTW he then went on to take pictures with EVERYONE I saw standing there swarming him for a picture.... I can't say if he got to every single person out of the upwards of 30+ people if that's what someones complaints are idk.? All I can speak on is what I saw. And what I saw was a mildly shy, keeps to himself sort of guy who likes to focus before games and doesn't really enjoy crowds or too much attention afterwards. If you can't deal with that and get over it then don't cheer for him, who needs you? Naniwa sure as hell won't mind, cheering for him or against him makes no difference to him he just wants to win.

who cares about us? apparently you do...

look, i don't want to start an argument or hostility with you, but why do you think it's your right to tell people what they can discuss? you don't like reading it, fine. i don't always like reading people talk about how they hate seeing koreans in every tournament, hate WCS format, or how much they love their favorite players, or when people start talking about dragonball Z. but this is a community of people with interests, ideas and opinions, people can choose to talk about what they want, and i respect that. if a mod comes in here and says "this thread is not for discussing X, Y or Z" then that changes things. but otherwise, you really have no place to say what we discuss

i was posting about how i don't like naniwa's personality because i saw other people discussing it and wanted to share my thoughts as well. it's not because i hate naniwa personally and want him to feel bad, it's because i wanted to socialize with other sc2 fans about an issue a lot of us have opinions about. there's no conspiracy to "whine" or bash anyone, but topics come up and they are discussed

Right. I'm just saying that you should write this somewhere else, because in the end in this thread your unhappy voice is too loud and it's far from being representative of the tournament. I think this thread should be about the games, not about the hate. Meanwhile, whenever Naniwa wins people come here to cry how much they dislike Naniwa. It's ok that they dislike him. But why they want to be heard so badly by everybody?

Why cannot Naniwa haters create an anti-fan page, dislike him there, and socialize there with the like-minded people, instead of trashing the main threads of all major tournaments? It is just not representative of the tournaments.

Yes. He expressed his own opinion and therefore suppressed other ideas by "loling" at free speech. I think that's how it works and the correct technical term.

Naniwa haters just want their free speech to hate as often and as frequently as possible in as many threads as they can. Is that so much to ask for? Seriously you guys need to grow up. Hating on any player is immature IMO. You can dislike the way a player conducts himself but to make every thread about your dislike for him personally and not about the games or his play is just completely ridiculous and frankly should be grounds for a ban if not at least a warning.

So basically you're saying Lol at free speech and other people's opinions besides mine don't matter.

I think you're blowing this out of proportion. People just state why they don't like Naniwa. And being BM is a pretty valid reason to not like a player. You're allowed to vocalize that. Just like people can say Alive has no personality or you know x player is bad, etc. I think that the fact that you are a big Naniwa fan is making you think it should be banworthy but it generally isn't, within certain boundaries.

Idra is BM and everyone seemed to love him for it? Not saying you did, and frankly I disliked him for it because his BM was more about ego and hubris and less about desire to win. And I can back that up with him ragequitting games without even trying to come back from a small defecit. Where as Naniwa will fight to the bitter end if he thinks there's any chance of him coming back to win. I for one think your perception of "Naniwa's BM" is just his eccentric personality shining through in his desire to win and everything else falling to the wayside. Where in today's matches did you see him being BM even in the slightest tho? Cause I was there and saw nothing of the sort.

Obviously I remember him saying some dumb comments about losing to Targa or some other EU zerg in EU Premier league one of the seasons ago. That was the last time I remember..... what did he do today to justify you bashing him in THIS thread that has to do with THIS tournament??

And you saying my huge amount of support for Naniwa makes me biased in this discussion is pretty ironic considering your huge amount of hate for him.
