We still have the Duck... and MC. As well as MMA... maybe one of them will be able to take it. I'd like to see an MC vs. Duckdeok finals.

Whilst I appreciate everyone who is a fan of (some or all) Korean players, I have little understanding how one can be SO biased towards Koreans.

It's more entertaining (even for you, if you root for Koreans generally) & "better for the scene" if some non-Korean players do well and get far in big tournaments.

Thx btw. at the players and the production crew - it was one of the most entertaining stream nights I've witnessed so far!

also better for the scene if we all donated 30k to every tournament

+ i don't watch tournaments only because of "my" players, i watch them to see awesome games and casting.
The best players come from Korea, so I always hope Koreans win, besides a foreigner like Stephano proves to be better by skill, not cheese. I hate when foreigners advance through cheese/allins and then fail to impress in a later stage where the opponents he knocked out, could have shined...

Wow did Grubby play well, especially vs Mvp. I'm sad Mvp is out, but Grubby earned that spot. Great games!!

Sad for Mvp But I'm used to his fluctuating fortunes by now. On the other hand, very happy for Grubby. Hopefully he can go even further.

Oh man, I wasn't expecting that result. Grubby is just such an awesome person with a great attitude, and seeing all of his hard work paying off in the end to take down such a terrifying opponent feels good. As much as I like Mvp, I'm glad Grubby took that win.

Then surely, as a fan of the best possible plays, you acknowledge that on this day both grubby and hasu had MVPs number? Countless times has MVP won out through clever, strategical play which is exactly what he fell to today! Although yes, it is a shame he's now out, definitely a fantastic player to watch

No. Mvp just got tired of winning everything and wants a break. That's the only reason he's letting foreigners win an letting players like Rain, Innovation, and Soulkey dominate Korea for now. This is all part of Mvp's master plan.

Saw first game of Grubby vs Hasuobs. Great game.

Seems like Grubby going Warcraft style , using his guerrilla style comparable to his annoying raiders hit, run, teleport tactics.., except it doesn't work because msc is slow and vulnerable, while tp in wc3 is invulnerable.
If Hasuobs only had the Korean mindset to be aggressive when he has an inkling that he has the army advantage after Grubby failed multiple times trying to snipe Hasu's nexus.

So beyond sad that my beloved Mvp is out, but if there was any player I would want to beat him, it would be Grubby. Maybe this is his time to take it all? I would love that.
I will always believe in the fallen king.

Just finished the vods, great play Hasu and Grubby. Really nice to see my longtime wc3 heroes advance .
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Great for Grubby and Hasu! Congrats to both. This will be the loss that has everyone doubting Mvp, so he can come back stronger again ;-)

seems like the European Protoss triumphal processing goes into next round ... Ro 16 = 8 Toss players, now two Protoss advanced to Ro after first Group )

It was sad too see that MvP s only choice was a SCV Pull (twice) after all his early aggression was shout down hardly by the Photon Overcharge ... he didn't play at his highest level too, maybe he didn't feel comfortable because he had a long journey and maybe was jetlagged but congrats to gruppy, he deserve the win in my opinion and his happiness after the win was very sympathetic.

This is like WoL all over again but with Protoss taking the role of Zerg!
