As a spaniard, I'm always rooting for the duran brothers. Hope they both advance! Shame they always have to match up against each other haha. Group D is insane though!

A tournament with los hermanos duran not killing eachother? Ahahahahahaha. Think VortiX can finally stand up to Luci? He has beaten his brother many times already and judging by this tournament he got his skill back up (after a period of little results because of his studies). That said I'd say Luci is the favorite at the moment.

Happy is just oozing quality and skill. I absolutely love watching him and Lucifron.
Also shoutout to TLO, talk about getting a ridiculous group with the two strongest players in the tournament in Taeja and Hyun.

Ah! Glad to see TaeJa and San made it! Would've rather see TLO through than HyuN though.

It's hard to compare him to Korean Zergs, but consider that Life and Symbol aren't in form right now, Jaedong's been beaten by HyuN, and Soulkey is out of the OSL and only concentrating on Proleague. If you consider Soulkey to be better than HyuN that's fair enough, but going by recent records HyuN is definitely a top 3 Zerg.

recent results yes, but I wouldn't only put him in the top 5 at least
1. sk 2. life 3. symbol 4. hyun 5. jd

Well, if we aren't going by recent results, might as well put Nestea and DRG up there.

Would put Losira over Hyun/JD, Curious, soO, RorO, Leenock and even hyvaa are debatable as well.

No way do Life and Symbol warrant such high placements with their recent records. I know Life beat Bomber at RSL but you can only give that so much weight when JD and HyuN are getting consistent podium finishes.

I am hoping for this too, but stardust seems like he could be a problem if Lucifron wins vs his brother.

Hard to gauge since they are playing in different tournament vs different players.

Life is arguable, but Symbol got Ro8 Code S, which is arguably way better than the second places at mediocre foreigner tournaments that Jaedong has.

Yeah which makes this quite arbitrary but regardless of who his opponents are, it's hard to call Symbol top 3 when he has a win rate of 53% and recently got destroyed by Yoda and Maru.

But I would call neither of them the favorite against a player like Bomber. Jaedong and Hayun are attending about every event, which is´nt the case for most zergs. At the latest tournament (IEM) Jaedong got knocked out in the group stages, while Revival won (and placed 2nd at WCS before that). Revival does´nt attend that much stuff, but in his latest two tournaments, he reached the finals both times.
