If you consider Soulkey to be better than HyuN that's fair enough, but going by recent records HyuN is definitely a top 3 Zerg. recent results yes, but I wouldn't only put him in the top 5 at least 1. sk 2. life 3. symbol 4. hyun 5. jd No way do Life and Symbol warrant such high placements with their recent records. I know Life beat Bomber at RSL but you can only give that so much weight when JD and HyuN are getting consistent podium finishes. Hard to gauge since they are playing in different tournament vs different players. Yeah which makes this quite arbitrary but regardless of who his opponents are, it's hard to call Symbol top 3 when he has a win rate of 53% and recently got destroyed by Yoda and Maru. Innovation also got destroyed my maru so

What on earth has symbol done wrong? I don't like him at all, but he has appeared to be very consistent throughout Hots so far in code S, so that's definitely top 5 as far as im concerned, given the inconsistency of a lot of Zerg players.

Of course Lucifron and Vortix have to play each other hahah. I am hoping for some good games and for both of them to advance!
And the person choosing the music has good taste. I am really enjoying it!

idra should become a full-time caster. he's a spectator, so no need to rage at anyone. and his analyses are great.

God, losing to Maru what an embarrassment. May as well send him to Kespa jail with Flash and sOs.

Never said he wasn't top 5, but I think HyuN and JD deserve to be ranked ahead of him when you contextualise his Code S results with his play in the last month. The reason I'm giving offline LANs so much weight is because I feel that, though the level of play is lower compared to Code S, that's balanced out by the limited amount of preparation you can do against your opponents compared to Code S, and the mental strength required to spend 3 days constantly playing high level SC2 in a competitive environment. If you feel that beating 3-4 high level opponents over the course of a month is worth more than that then yes, Symbol should be top 3.

You know, this Luci vs. Vortix game is really, really good.

Innovation also got destroyed my maru so ''Destroyed by Yoda and Maru'', making it sound bad is pretty stupid tbqh. Maru is an OSL finalist, and Yoda has shown amazing play. Meanwhile Hyun/JD get podium finishes, but it's just foreign tournaments, they don't face the opposition in which Symbol consistently gets ro8 finishes.
I think that top 5 was pretty alright, I'd maybe even put hyvaa in there somewhere.
