Bo1 Ro32 was a mistake imo that shouldn't be repeated. The rest was fine. | ||

Anaconda gets a lot of hate because a lot of people consider it 'gimmicky'. I thought OSL was okay. Not quite all out production-wise but still really good. The player intros and hype videos were disappointing except for a few, though. | ||

I use reddit for starcraft if TL crashes whilst something is happening. So a grand total of two times in the last couple of years. Reddit is good for being the biggest most accessible forum on the internet. But a focused one is still better. | ||

Yeah. But I say let them keep their format. The only thing I didn't like was that in the ro16 they didn't prevented team mates from playing their last match vs each other. | ||

Very enjoyable season overall. The ro32 was still stupid, not just because of bo1 but also because the map order was the same for every group. Though we DID end up with some cool games still, and we DID get a lot of the more deserving players advancing overall (at least imo). The ro16, however was a complete turnaround. Personally, I like the round-robin format with 1 series from each group more. Granted, there's a certain loss of hype when an entire group isn't played on a single day, but the pros outweigh the cons here. Chobra is the MAN! I loved the interviews after the games (bonus points for having Barbie there <3). I hated Anaconda and hope to never see that map again. Gwangalli was beautiful, but doesn't seem like a particularly good map gameplay-wise. I think they should retire that one immediately as well. I DO give them credit for trying to be different though and wisely not implementing the maps until the ro16. Doa and Monte were indeed an unexpectedly good pair. I still choose Tastosis during the live cast, but I'd go back and watch the vods too for them. Again great season, but GSL is still better imo. | ||
