Don't forget Marines/Hellions got a lot of Probes too. It was 22 probes vs 13 SCVs after the harassment phase, i. e. even income.
Exactly, i don't get why people thought that came out miles ahead after the early game. Sure he had a slight advantage but fantasy's harass did a ton of damage too, economically speaking they were pretty even.
whiplash and supernova said so and they aren't very smart
game wasnt even AT ALL. first of all hero had a pure b.o counter in the early game, it should have ended right there. fantasys harass allowed him to get back into the game and then he pulled ahead after he sniped hero's natural. he still would have been in a shitty spot(his nat wasnt saturated and he didnt have his 3rd/4th gasses while hero almost had his 1st collo out) had he not done that, he was basically in a semi-allin position

Fantasy didnt win ... Hero lost the game by being stupid enough not to cover his main base border with cannons which allowed the drops to come in and rape him.
Could you be any more clueless?
There's like 4 things wrong in his single sentence. It's actually quite impressive.

Cannons REALLY make your life easier because they take one worry out of the equasion. Obviously you need enough of them with speed Medivacs, but considering the amount of Stalkers and Nexus' Hero lost I think cannons would have been much cheaper.
But he still won? you can't deny this fact
Ok ... here is the "long version" ...
Fantasy didnt win the game because of his own super skill ... Hero lost it because he was stupid to leave a gigantic achilles heel open and accessible to Fantasy. Terrans use drops nowadays and Fantasy even showed his desire to do so several times and yet Hero did NOTHING to cover up that side of his MAIN. Leaving units there to defend is bad because that will reduce your army size, so cannons are the option to choose. They must be placed in a way to shoot at Medivacs before they even get to a place where they can start dropping ... i.e. at the edge of the cliff ... and there must be a sufficient number of them. 4-6 cannons should have done the trick and that would have been much cheaper than everything he lost there to defend. The patrolling Phoenix was nice, but it got shot down in the end.

I guess the economic advantage grew to two bases vs 1, with fantasy's base having 5-6 mineral patches. Had hero not dropped the spaghetti and kept his natural alive there's no way fantasy would have won that.
Fantasy is pretty damn good, but image how much better he'd be if he wasn't constantly getting supply blocked and floating tonnes of resources like all the time.
I don't get it. Macro in SC2 is so much easier than BW, this really shouldn't be an issue.

Explain ...
Hero had 22 probes... how was he supposed to afford 600-900 mins for cannons. LOL. and even then. once fantasy finds out where the cannons are located, he goes to a spot in the main where they are not.

Hero had no money for cannons. If he did, he would have had to skipped out on units and fantasy would of killed him by doing a drop in a place without cannons and attacking natural or straight up attacking natural.
That was pretty sweet early game where Fantasy had 8 rines in the main and 4 hellions outside the natural, and hero had his oracle harass all going on at the same time =D. Anyone else think so? I also think Hero should have defended the drops better, but he had to choose to defend between the main and 3rd, and he didn't really have enough army to do that... considered he doubled expoed. That said I think Hero cannot let the natural die (next game) like that and Fantasy needs to make a viking as soon as oracles show up Overall pretty awesome. I am in a good mood.... and also glad InNo plays first next series

Investing in 4-6 cannons to defend a cliff is something you'd only see in bronze. You say leaving units there is bad because it reduces army size so instead you waste 600+ minerals which does far more damage to your army size and gives 0 mobility. "Terrans use drops nowadays" gave me a laugh too.

Hero threw it. He contained fantasy in 1 base and should've won from there. He went up the ram and lost 5 stalkers to scvs instead of just teching up which gave fantasy a chance. Also if you want to talk about drop defense, you should look at Fantasy vs First using phoenix as drop defense or using obs like rain to anticipate doom drops.
I was really impressed by Fantasy's decision to send in enough drops to focus down the Nexuses, as that means the Protoss has almost no economy. It seems like a really effective tactic to me.
