The games have been enjoyable to watch but I usually mute the sound. The echo was way too bad last night.

I even think Polt should be considered the underdog vs JD too, mainly because of how bad Polts TvZ is. Well how do you know he will play against Hyun or JD? Also he said he feels like he is solid in all matchups.

Polt is just a class above any other Terran in this tournament. The only way Hyun can beat Polt is with a roach or roach bane all in, I think Polt is superior to any other player in this tournament in the late game. Out of all the Protoss Dear has the best chance against Polt, and even Dear got taken apart 2-0 already. The player most likely to beat Polt is Jaedong, however JD's TvZ is fairly unpredictable, and I reckon Polt has some pretty sick builds up his sleeve. Polt was known as the marauder king in WoL, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him bring out a sick MVP style hellbat marauder timing.

does the setting really matter?

It depends on the size of your balls I guess. And I think hyun has the advantage there

It shouldn't because Polt has plenty of booth/big stage experience. If anything he should in theory have an edge over Hyun onstage (if you want to really insist any player at this point has main stage nerves which is ridiculous) since he's actually won stuff, including a win over Hyun in the 2012 WCS prelims. Hyun has a 2nd place to Sniper at the peak of infestor-broodlord bullshit in GSL, and a bunch of online stomps. He's hardly the strongest opponent in a booth.

It's all about the balls man, polt is a choker we all know it. Just check out his results as of late. But to add on that, I think his PvT is really good, and he is obvious in an advantage vs both naniwa and dear. So the only obstacle on his path to victory seems to be JD and Hyun
