The axeltoss kid sure looks nice, but i'm not really sure he's fit for casting starcraft. I've never seen him before, maybe he had a bad week end tho.

But it felt they weren't pushing the volume of their voices too hard cause of the echo.

Such an unfair comparison. Best korean casters vs random no name shoutcasters. At least use Deman/Kobe clips if you're going to berate English LoL casters.

You could say the same to all sc2 players except for a few who managed to beat Fruitdealer quite fast. Some tournaments gives a lot more than others. He's one of fifteen who has managed to break the 100k dollar milestone, that is an accomplishment. He did it before players like Bomber, Squirtle, Taeja, Violet. Are you saying they aren't impressive as well?

Most of Fruitdealer's money came from the first season of GSL which gave an absurd amount of money (87.5K), while Naniwa has been consistently winning money. But you're right though, Naniwa is definitely pathetic.</sarcasm>

This tournament isn't a good indicator of the flaw in this format, because both finalists were undefeated going into it. I have no problem with two undefeated finalists playing a single elim finals, because both players have performed equally. The problem is when one finalist is undefeated and the other finalist has dropped a series. Having had to play one series less is not an adequate advantage in such a scenario. But I guess that's just the tournament format, and it's not a huge deal, compared to the pain of producing and marketing a double bo3 final. What I think would be cool for this format is a bo7 grand finals where undefeated finalists start with a single win. So if HerO had gone to finals, it would start 1-0 for polt, giving him a small, but real advantage for not dropping a single series. The finals we saw would have started 1-1 (or 0-0 if you want to just null the advantage for those cases)
