If a lesser Zerg player has more chance to advance in ZvZ (than for instance a Terran does in TvT...), then in the later rounds undeserving Zergs might face deserving Protoss/Terran and get crushed.

Protoss has a lot more success in pro-league (bo1s) than they have in other tournaments with bo3s -> bo7s By that logic a Bo1 format was a good move to give us more racial balance. Anything that reduces the number of zergs is a good move.

Like, it might just so happen that there are a lot of them.

Think harder yourself. PvP is just as volatile. With terran it might be slightly better.

I am not defending/arguing against bo1. I just explained why zerg usually have more problem in bo1s than toss

What happens if the drop "comes late" and you have moved the defending units out? With the faster Warp Prism it *might be* viable to build 2-3 Warp Prisms and start with 4 Sentries and 4 Zealots. Warping in stuff takes time after all and this would add an element of surprise to it. With several Warp Prisms you could have one of them to warp in stuff and the other(s) could be used to micro and save your units. The only possibility seems to be a counter-attack and if you plan to use this strategy a tight wall and several cannons seems an easy enough defense.
