I don't understand, you'd make players play at 3am so that NA and EU could watch it at their prime time? Timezones are catered towards whatever region it's being held in.

this is WORLD champ series and game times aren't BM only for EU, they are BM even for korea because some people have to work at fkin 10am (korea time) at friday... and just for a record, WCS EU and NA have started at decent time for different time zones. If i'm not wrong, wcs EU top8 started at 2PM (9PM korea and 7AM US)... other WCS EU events were broadcasted at decent time too (at 6PM CEST during working day). It was the case with WCS NA too. And I know finals in EU and NA will be again at decent time, not at 10am during WORKING day.

I just have no words how to describe korean ignorance.. well, ignorance fits very well..

if I would be mean I would say that main reason for turning off viewers from EU region is just an attempt to make them subscribe and get vods...

and yeah, GL to all the players, they are best of the best and this event will be full of great games.

They could not have picked a worse time for this. It suits nobody except people on the west coast of the americas. It's not a regional tournament either.

Yo dawg, they probably need all day to do the entire ro16 and they don't want to run til way late at night korean time so they have to start early. No need to be so critical or lash out at koreans in general.

Anyway its not that big of a deal since there should be VOD

lol at "The Americans" in the jetlag poll
+ Show Spoiler +
There are no Americans in the WCS Finals

P.S. If the 10 aka 10 a.m. time is correct, it won't be the Americans being jetlagged. That's 18-22 time for Americans. It would be the Europeans.

So when should they broadcast (and play) these games? Do tell, because I'm sure Blizzard would be delighted to know how to solve the 12-hour time difference between Korea and North America

Yeah I live in NA for most of the year so I usually just watch the VODs for that. I wish my season ticket counted toward this. People keep saying that there are free VOD and I really want to believe them, but I haven't heard any mention of it so far.

there is no need to complain about the time of broadcast, this would have happened in any timezone

also, saying the broadcast time is bad even for KR because of friday is stupid, we had tourneys in EU and NA starting on friday (even morning) too, no one complained that much

i just hope there is a restream or vod are uploaded quite fast

wcs eu was from 2-11pm or maybe something longer. WCS NA was arranged same way, if i'm not wrong. I can't see why WCS finals can't be arranged in same way as EU and NA. I mean, you have more players here (16 to 8) but they are playing bo3 (two groups at same time) and there is no 5th place "fighting" so duration of first day will be pretty similar as whole EU and NA top8 event.

I don't think Gom has any say in this since Blizzard and OGN (mostly OGN I think) are in charge of this one
