Not sure if I should be laughing at this as a troll or if you really mean it. Chinese are better than all the non-Koreans without exception ?

Must be some super-hero Chinese players that I've never seen before . . . but I just checked the bracket here, and I don't see any Chinese players that can support your hilariously outlandish claim. Must be a troll.

P.S. Hendralisk 2-1 over Loner first round.

It is not a troll. Who are the best non-chinese foreigners here? Like Puck and Demuslim? The Chinese players are better than them.

Yes Loner lost to Hendralisk but these are BO3s.

I actually really like Axslav and this other dude nobody seems to know.

The cast feels a lot less awkward than it is with Axeltoss/Axslav.

Chinese/Taiwan players dropping to NA players

Bails over DemonSheep
Xenocider over Ian
Hendralisk over Loner

I agree that there are some amazing Chinese players, but as a whole the China/Taiwan players don't seem to be dominating NA like Koreans have.

Needs more streams for the other games. I don't understand how they thought it was a good idea to just have all these other great matches going on and not let anyone see them.

I dont think there are really any notable Taiwanese players other than SEn are there? He has like a 90% win rate in TESL IIRC. Jim should be the best foreigner in this qualifier on paper.

Nothing wrong with being a fan of Chinese players, many of them are very good. However, your statement seems pretty far off the mark from what I've seen. Chinese players are about on par with the foreigners, just as we are seeing with the current results. This is the way it's been now for a long time.

I'd go further and say that against the foreigners in American and European Premier league, most of the Chinese would be outclassed.

Center is on another level, even after taking his third way later and going bio vs mech, he's still able to secure a great position and get back into the game.

Isnt it better to take the middle base as third base when going mech?

Devil's advocate here, Demuslim seems to only lose TvT to Byun, it's rare to see him lose to any other Terrans on his stream. Like, ever.

While the statement might be true (I'd say his TvZ is strongest and TvT weakest), games vs a Code S level player isn't a good measurement for how solid his TvT is.

The top handful of Chinese are right up there with Stephano, Naniwa, Snute, Scarlett, Lucifron etc. We just never get to see them.

I agree that there are some amazing Chinese players, but as a whole the China/Taiwan players don't seem to be dominating NA like Koreans have.

I don't think anyone's been saying the Taiwanese players were leagues better than the NA ones, just the Chinese (the Taiwanese and Chinese scenes are very separated). It was mostly due to how the Chinese players that did make it into the WCS NA premier league qualifier made it the furthest out of all the non-Koreans -- the only non-Korean, non-Chinese who made to the last round was Demuslim.

A lot of the strongest NA players already were invited to premier.

So you are basing the entire Chinese sc2 scene on Top, Macsed, and Comm.

Okay then.

You know what's funny, that actually didn't cross my mind when I typed that post.

I'm not even being sarcastic.

Edit: I'm basing the entire Chinese scene on those guys because they are essentially the entire Chinese scene. There aren't very many Chinese SC2 pro-gamers.
