Also with 8 KeSPA advancing already in the worst-case scenario it will be 50/50 between them and eSF in the Ro16! GSL is only getting better and better with each tournament. eSF can only get to 43.75% in Ro16 if the best scenario for them happens. Huh? If Leenock and Life go through it's gonna be 50% eSF One could argue about Parting as well, but I guess it's almost enough time for him to be considered KeSPA Taeja's not. Oh well I tend to call all non-kespa koreans eSF koreans... it's meaningless though. The whole KeSPA vs eSF is meaningless, but people still want to argue. Your laughing threshold is low. People are different, you laugh every time when people present different ideas or attitudes?

Flash said in a interview here on teamliquid in april 2012 that it will take him around 1 year to be competitive then 2-3 years after that to become as good as he was in BW.
Looks like that statement is scarily coming true.

It's useless to fight Opterown. Whatever flash said in an interview doesn't matter if casters keep hyping kespa like that. Kespaa........ Personally I still think eSF and Kespa are the same and that kespa fans are amusing.

I hate when people say KESPA vs ESF is meaningless, its the thing that is keeping me most interested in SC2, I posted this a few days ago in Group C, when someone else said something similar, trying to explain to him why it matters to some people..

Its one of the main reasons I follow the SC2 scene. I also dont get why people get upset when someone posts about one or the other superiority. Thats the kind of stuff that makes rooting for sports so fun. As long as its done in a not in your face way, I dont see anything wrong with it. I would love to have SC2 get to a point where you go to a live event, and some players actually get booed and stuff (minus of course flash cause thats just not cool). But yeah it matters to some of us, I'll never ever root for ESF and wont be satisfied till they all go back to being B-team dishwashers, harsh I know, but its how I feel.
I get that it dosent matter to some of you, but why do you assume then that its the same for everyone. Some of us identify strongly with one side or the other, I dont get why this bothers you guys. Find something yourselfs to be passionate about but dont get angry and annoyed at us for being passionate about something.

I think those who over-react to kespa/esf banter are more annoying for me. But I dont care enough to post passive agressives, one-liners and "hahahas" about it. Hell, I bash the MLB National League teams always coz Im a yankees fan.

it's exceptionally dumb. i guess it's okay to pick a side and engage in some friendly jibes but that's about it. remember sc2 is still fragile and is dwarfed by LoL and whatever inane FPS that comes up next. people's livelihoods depend on the game so don't create strife where it isn't needed.

Yeah I kinda like the Kespa vs Esf thing. Cheering for my kespa bros makes watching more fun and exciting for me, kinda like KT vs SKT, except it's on almost every match in GSL! I don't see anything wrong about it except some people going overboard on it and some others overreacting to it, aka the trolls and the trolled. It's like not it's affecting the organizations and hurting esports!

Now I feel silly for not purchasing a season ticket :<

It seems to me that the BW hardcore fans who switched with the Kespa pros are more fond on this "Kespa vs Esf" banter/trashtalk/conflict. Simply put, they want their childhood RTS-god status heroes to crush the fucking noobs who dared move their mouse and winning tournaments with it for 2 years.
I follow SC2 since WoL's beta and didn't really know the BW scene before that, and I merely consider Kespa guys as a bunch of extra really fucking good players to enjoy watching. I don't hold imaginary grudges or something, I want them to do well, because I want every player to play well, it raises the level of gameplay overall :D
Edit:
Oh it matters. I despise anyone that is a fan of ESF. I think BW is superior in every way over SC2 and that KESPA players are the best RTS players. So by them crushing ESF guys I think it validates my believe.
See, that's the kind of shit that's completely pointless. You despise any fan of players they followed for 2 years, really? You don't even talk about the players themselves, but about their fans, as if "being a fan of Kespa" was a skill in itself, far superior to "being a fan of eSF"... Well I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. In the end, you're just a little fangirl like any of us, you're not better because you think BW is better.

YESSSSSS FLASH AND SOULKEY! Thank Gawdddddddd!

Well I guess I could be considered one of the "BW hardcore fans" but unlike the guy some posts above, I'm fond of the "Kespa vs Esf" thing just because I've been watching these kespa guys for years, and I know pretty much nothing about Esf players. It's not that I just want Esf to lose everytime simply because of that, but more of like cheering for a friend against a stranger.
|
Kespa players all the way. Everyone know that the majority of ESF players are the ones what got tired of doing the dishes and laundry in BW and just wanted some easy cash.
