Just sound pointless to me . I strongly disagree. In this system you are able to achive mutliple goals which other tournaments don`t have. You have awsome open tournament (so lesser players can actually try and compete with pros - and this pros considering stake will play at their best) THe whole scene can be involved, so you may feel as a part of bigger gaming community actually participating And another 2 just as important: With 4 qualis where top 2 qualifies much less depends on how players were seeded, because bad seed doesn`t mean you are out already. Less luck involved, and much more actual chances for better players. Still with this format normally unknown players are not without chances.

This is a great way to both allow for overcoming bad luck in a single BO3 for pros, and also to allow a big open bracket so we can be sure that everyone good has a chance.
