XlorD vs Whitera would be sick.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Wtf Blizzard. Way to kill esports.

There is like 5-6k less viewers than yesterday... and I'd expect 5-6k more with NASL around. Really bad decision making from blizzard.

I don't like Blizzard's handling of WCS in general. What was the point, again? Was it to promote regional play? Because WCS America is going to be invaded by like two dozen mid to top-tier Koreans. EU has like 4-6 Koreans (none of which I'd consider top-tier, except maybe Tails) in the quals alone, not including the invites to the Premier league. But the part that stings the most is that we won't see foreigners competing in the GSL anymore because of this exclusive/lock system. And the top Koreans won't be coming over to MLG anymore unless they're locked to WCS America. And then the reduced Korean prize pool (from last year). And how there was little communication and time given to the teams/players to prepare for this.

uuh top Korean's can still come to MLG events just like Dreamhacks and IEM's, that has nothing to do with WCS. Why wouldn't they come? The did in the past so why would they stop?

MLG Pro Circuit is going to be the new WCS America Code S, right? Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding was MLG = Code S America, IEM = Code S EU, and GSL = Code S Korea.

So if you're playing in the official MLG or IEM or GSL circuit, you can't compete in the other two.

P.S. I forgot to mention MVP.Finale as another mid/top-tier Korean in the EU quals

There'll be regular MLG along with WCS
SC2 is the best game to watch and was the best to play before I grew old and slow...

It is good to see more attempts at mech in TvP, but has there been in those qualifiers any TvP mech who won without being ridiculously far ahead? Naama now won with mech, but really he traded beyond horrible against NeOAngels army. Only because his income was so much higher and his army so much bigger could he sustain that.

White-Ra is not far enough yet for that match to happen.

Ha, I always feel a bit worried for the T when they lose their mech army in a push like that... fortunately (the good ones) have another mech army waiting at home at that point

No, wrong except that GSL = WCS Korea.

MLG Pro Circuit and IEM are completely separate from WCS NA and EU, except that they might grant additional WCS points (like other events that are independent from WCS).

From what I've seen it always incorporates a ton of harass via hellbat drops and such.

Assuming equal econ/army value immortals can just a-move to victory, its a bit silly.
