Is there a good example of a Zerg winning late game on Arkanoid? There must be some strat behind this, or else the coaches won't keep sending 3-base Zergs on this map. earlier rounds someone used the same mass ling style with great success.

But how can you repeatedly roll your ling/bling army all the way up to a few tanks just to pull back at the last minute and get destroyed while retreating instead of taking out the tanks already. /facepalm
I also feel the map shouldn't allow buildings such as turrets and sensor towers to be built on those small plateaus at the opposing base. It took Alone forever to take those out.

Those siege tanks on small high ground are really nightmare for zerg players. It looks easy to deal with, but extremely hard when zerg doesn't have the correct composition, they are really pain in the ass during the whole game for zerg.

I meant those on the ground. Alone kept rolling all the way up to them, then without hitting them pulled back and got destroyed by the siege tank hits while retreating.

All the more reason not to stay on mass ling. BLs or Infestors slow deathball rolls over everything, I suppose.

Thanks for doing these, lately the first thing I do when I get up is look at the results in the OP, then search for last Proseat post in the thread to see the points.
Somehow FPL never gets updated on time when I'm doing well, and gets updated within several hours when I'm not.

They (T8) throuw the game just so EGTL can be the last one.

True they have dropped to 4th place but they have already defeated Woongjin and KT this round. Thats impressive to me atleast.

First time I was smart in FPL this round, traded Last off my anti team and acquired TRUE. Well done, StarVe.

I think a lot of those face palm moments have happened to other players though. Pro gamers aren't as amazing or perfect as you'd think, most of them are pretty young, liable to making mistakes such as these. But probably 95% of their play is good, they just screw up badly sometimes, and it seems unthinkable because they play the game *so much*. Yet it happens! Clearly, even with all that experience, they still can't play at a level where that stuff doesn't happen.
I mean I have some understanding for it, SC2 is a very very fast paced game. Often when you see players attacking, they don't actually focus on their attack, they go back to their base to macro. And then something horrible happens to their army because they weren't looking, and thought they could do many things at once. Alas they are proven wrong. That's my best theory...he probably thought the attack was safe, then checked back - oh no so many tanks - and then ran away. It seems so silly, but I guess most of the time that kind of play style works?
