He made RO8 two GSL Code S in a row now too and still has that great micro we know and love as demonstrated in his games today. /rant I mean yeah, he's not at his early 2012 or early 2011 peak, but he's still a great player. (I'll agree with opterown that his vs Z has produced some facepalm moments lately... I watched his games vs Life in the GSL Code S that life won, that wasn't pretty).

Snute looks near invincible in ZvZ recently beating Life, Stephano, TLO, and now Symbol and he has also displayed pretty good ZvT beating people like TheSTC and taking games off Taeja and Bomber. He 4-0'd both his groups in this tournament. He deserves to be leading the poll.

You are probably right, I guess my image of him is colored by the immense amount of fail I have seen from him in the past. It's like he's back to where he was in 2011, showing flashes of brilliance combined with forgetting to raise a supply depot and lose the game.

Symbol has been inconsistent for most of his career. He is just as likely to show Ro8 Code S level play, and just as likely to lose to foreigners (well, good ones) and low-tier Koreans. If Symbol just improved on his consistency, he would be on par with HyuN, but he just lacks that certain element that lets him hang with the top-tier consistently.
