Golden, Taeja, Demuslim, Hyun, Gretorp, Rotterdamn.

Dont know the last two.

Anyway

I am so sad that they air the finals at such unwatchable time.

It's the same for us in North America with European tournaments.

Dunno. Dreamhack generally tries to schedule the finals in the evening here so it's atleast in the middle of the day/afternoon in US. The event will start late evening for us now on a sunday >_> The finals will probably be at 3-4 AM.

Dreamhack at least has free vods. If you're gonna have your finals at 2am monday morning (CET time), at least give people free vods.

I'm so confused by the people complaining about timezones. DH does NOT schedule their tournaments to be "world-friendly", which is ridiculous because there exists timezones. Both DH finals and GSL start times are usually around 4am my time (US EST). Whoever says that DH schedules around NA timezones is incorrect.

There is nothing a tournament can do about timezones, except do 1) rebroadcasts and 2) have VODs. I definitely agree that NASL could have done Day 1 rebroadcasts immediately after, but I can understand them not airing a rebroadcast since Day 1 was nearly 12 hours long and there wasn't enough time to replay the entire rebroadcast. And as for VODs, that's part of subscribing and I also can't fault them for having real subscriber bonuses.

Really hope ViOlet can take this. It was heartbreaking to see him lose so narrowly at IPL. He looked so crushed. Gogo ViOlet!!!!

This is the ONLY thing stopping me from buying an HD ticket for the finals, and a subscription for the next season. I am absolutely loving NASL but I can't watch it on a computer. My old macbook air at school is unable to handle flash videos (overheats and the works). I was lucky I had access to a computer yesterday, but today I don't. I might have to just use teamviewer and link to my computer at home.

Yeah, that's really tough. I have to watch on my phone if I'm on the go and can't just carry my laptop around. I think it's been stated that twitch is working on having subscriptions also apply to phones, but that's apparently where the issue is -- the app version of twitch.tv doesn't distinguish between subscribers and non-subscribers. I feel like this is an easy fix, but lol, what do I know???

I mean it probably is seen as a low-priority issue since it affects a low number of people, and essentially only a few streams that have subscriptions. Like I wish one of their people would restream into 240p or 360p or even 480p without subscriptions. I mean people get those for free anyway. They probably won't because it would fuck with their numbers, but meh.

Polt, obviously, third. Sortof is... sort of 4th. Still not bad with the players attending.

White-Ra all the way. Special Tactics and I think White-Ra has been spending more time in the beta. (Plus, freaking mothership cores man.) You can follow White-Ra, @Liquid'Ret.

Timezone complaints - While I sympathize with the Europeans, it is the North American StarLeague.

More Europeans in the final 8 than North Americans though

Violet is now property of MURICA

Depending on how much time DeMuslim spends at the Lair in Arizona, we could possibly make a case there. To carry this silly supposition to the full extent of ludicrous, I think Hyun needs to file with the IRS for having a steady job at the IPL Fight Club. So he counts for Murica too.

I suggest you mention this to Gom. I'm sure they would find it humorous. (Of course, I am awake at 4am, so I can watch pixelvision live.)

Gom at least has their finals on a saturday, always. It just sucks because I would stay up if I could. But I really can't watch a bo7 grand finals starting at 2am on a monday morning when I have to go to work 6 hours later. If you're gonna do that have it a) be a saturday or b) let there be free vods for the finals. That's just simple logic. Anything else is just a big fuck you to everybody in different timezones. Which sucks because I love watching NASL.
