Does NASL have a prize pool or they don't want people to know their prize pool. I searched everywhere but still couldn't find out how much each player earned. There is nothing more important than the dollars in a tournament.

It's right here buddy. Next time, look harder.

We actually didn't have a reference for that table, this is based on what was said on stream over the course of the weekend.

NoGasfOu does have a point; Up until the tournament actually started, the prizepool was "To be announced"

Also; YES HEROOOOO!!!!

Such happy news to wake up to!!

I noticed that too. I wonder at least if the players knew the prizepool. I don't think it'd be very fun to play a 3 month-long tournament not knowing if you might win 10k or 40k

IPL 5 had better production IMO, BUT
NASL's lack of downtime was AWESOME!. NASL also have overall better casters (bitterdam <3) (compared to the bunch ioif weird playhem casters by IPL) and HerO winning makes NASL a great event too

IPL5 main stage/stream had GOM production because they were there for GSL.
HOLY CHECK!

Greedy play actually to not get a baneling nest after seeing 3 rax early like that

banelings without speed are pretty much useless against good T in those cases. They explode far away of anything, you pray that your opponent makes a micro mistake.

....not at all, it forces out more stims and forces the T army to back off.

The main two ways I've seen this push held off are having Roaches mixed in and at least one game I can recall Zerg surround and ram with banelings. Not sure how cost effective the latter is though.

blings are not about being cost efficient its about forcing stims.

Hero, Violet, Polt. I can definitely live with that top trio, seem to be nice and likeable players all three. And nice with a foreigner touch on 4th place as well.

Proleague LR definitely much better. Why is the balance whine so prominent in foreign tournament threads? :\

Because more people actually give a fuck about hero than most of the proleague players combined.

Missed the finals because of the time zone. Is there a game by game - written - summary available somewhere ?

I'm sure teamliquid will end up doing a news report in the near future or I at least hope so because I missed the finals also cause I had to catch up on sleep because of school.

Liquid'HerO fighting!

Overall nice tournament! Unfortunate that there is no VODs available for us non-subscribers, would have loved to see the finals (usually don't purchase subscription for events that are in the wrong time zones).

Also, really cool that SortOf got fourth!
