Second, the question is for a 1-2 punch and you listed more than 2 players for every team except Samsung Khan, plus you listed a player not on the roster for Team 8 (lol). You also apparently didn't realize that a lot of those players you listed aren't as good as HerO/Taeja. GG

This is probably the fan in me, but i would like to imagine that given a week to prepare/good training schedule Thorzain will be able to pick up his share of wins.

I blame god for creating the universe which is at fault. Kespa hates god is what it is.

There is no way you can claim that all Kespa teams have the same or better top 2 players as HerO and Taeja in SC2. Pure talent, maybe but they in no way have the same experience. Its just naive to claim it and completly baseless. You go from feeling cause they have in no way proven what you say by achievements. Objectivly, they dont come close. Everyone goes from feelings, the so called "objective" doesn't exist.
ok then, so I guess you cant make logical conclusions based on stats. Right. It is entirly possible for a peron never having seen starcraft 2 nor played it, not knowing anything about the players but theirs stats and recent achievements. Such a person would most definatly favour Taeja and HerO over the Kespa teams and could hardly be called subjective. Unless you want to really really really draw the term objective to its extreme yes, there is such a thing as objectivity.

hero is super good and so is stephano but don't expect them to carry as much as taeja. in fact i dont expect hero to beat many people despite being my captain Uh, Taeja can win all his matches in proleague and the team can still get crushed. This isn't the all-kill format...yet, so you technically can't rely on one guy to carry the team. Everyone is throwing out the same excuse that they're missing their big top 3 players but in this format if everyone don't perform well, it won't mean anything. Agree
The problem is even with Taeja, Hero, and Stephano, one of them will most likely have to defeat flash in the normal matches, then hope for a 3-3 tie and have to beat flash again. It's not as easy as it sounds.

SKT - Fantasy/Soo not as good as either hero or taeja. Samsung - Jangbi has done nothing of note yet STX - Only Bogus is notable Woongjin - Only soulkey is any good, and in relative decadence since his debut in SC2 KT - Only flash so far, stats has been decent but nowhere near hero/taeja CJ - Close, but still rather unproven T8 - JD doesn't count, plus he's not as good as either hero or taeja, same for baby, worst team in PL
Stop looking with you BW tinted glasses, you just don't seem to know a lot about SC2 apparently. The actual truth is that this is pretty hard to evaluate right now, since most PL players have played a small sample of relevant matches (Against code S level players). All we know is that Hero and taeja are pretty damn good at SC2.

Wow absence of arguably the best three members of EGTL alliance hurts more than expected. But I still believe EGTL will be much better with TaeJa HerO and Stephano playing. Fight on.

after Flash - Zenio match you think that it was one sided, then after all the matches you realize that the first match was the least one sided! sad day for foreigners indeed

Hate to break it to you but the only players on that list that are as good as Taeja Hero (and possibly stephano) are Rain, Flash, Soulkey, and Bogus. However, Taeja Hero and Stephano have shown far more consistent demonstrations of their domination in comparison to those players.

I only caught the last two games, but it looks like Thorzain just got taken by suprise (and steamrolled) by muta-ling-baneling, and the immortal-sentry all-in is really strong at the top level, even if Jaedong didn't necessarily make any mistakes (from what I could tell)?

You can in no way make an intelligant argument that those players are currently more skilled then TaejA and HerO, A few of them sure, but in no way 2 in EACH team. Thats just silly. Potentially they could be, certainly but right now really? HerO was the frigging elephant slayer in WCS!
Anyway, yeah such sad negativity.
Even if they got embarassed, why is it bad to attempt this? It's a sick injection of enthusiasm for this area of the scene. For somebody like me who really missed the glory days of Proleague this is awesome, a chance to at least see a part of what I missed!
If the Kespa players are so much better, why would you not go out and test your mettle and find out? Why is setting up a Korean house in the case of EG, with a Korean manager something that won't benefit the foreign scene as a whole? Perhaps if EGTL start picking up some results and generating some goodwill other foreign teams might make a fist of it. Hell even the cooperation itself between Liquid and EG is something to be celebrated. I'm sure organisationally this took a good amount of work to put together and it's sad to see the efforts of such people just shit on.
It's pathetic really. Statements like Kespa players could perfect parts of the game 'In a week' that are just nonsense. Yeah they're good RTs players, we get it. The ones who have 20/20 vision only in hindsight are even worse.
