There is no way you can claim that all Kespa teams have the same or better top 2 players as HerO and Taeja in SC2. Pure talent, maybe but they in no way have the same experience. Its just naive to claim it and completly baseless. You go from feeling cause they have in no way proven what you say by achievements. Objectivly, they dont come close.
Everyone goes from feelings, the so called "objective" doesn't exist.

Zenio's not all that great of a zerg imo. He hasn't put up good results in a long time (his performance at IEM was nice, but could be better). JYP basically is more of a PvZ'er, his PvP was coinflipped and Wooki took advantage of having the 3rd gate earlier. That aggression paid off. Thorzain, idk. His history with Action is now 0-3. Although he's probably not faring all that well with jetlag, and being in Korea in less than a week. I think over time he will do better in proleague, but idk if he'd be a staple for the team as a regular. Jaedong couldn't handle that immortal sentry all-in too well. He had the knowledge, but the FF's and bad engagement areas made it really horrid for him. I think if he really practices on defending those, he'll be set for ZvP. It's only the first game of the season, time will tell how the Unholy Alliance will truly fare, especially since their 3 strongest players aren't there. Even so, I didn't expect a shut out of 4-0. I was expecting JYP to possibly get a win and Jaedong. Huk may have lost, and Puma who I haven't seen in awhile I'd feel be 50-50. I hope TLO somehow gets into proleague and does some crazy nydus play though. the fact that taeja hero stephano is an international tournament material shouldn't make you hope they'd show up regularly this is basically the most common line up we'll gonna see
I am aware of them not being there today is due to NASL. Basically the lineup EG-TL has today is the best they got on short notice more or less. Even with international tourneys that may pop up throughout this season of Proleague, I figure most of the time they will probably have at least 1 or 2 in Korea of the 3 aforementioned players to play, unless it was a huge tourney with a big prize pool. That's the sad truth and rather nice luxury KESPA players can enjoy, they don't need to focus on International events to for their monetary earnings. They're a bit better off than non KESPA players (although a few exceptions may exist like some players in EG). KESPA players have more time to focus on less things and don't have to bother with travel and jet lag, as well as missing out on events.

You don't need that much depth! You just need 3 good players that can win every week, with 3 wild card players who might randomly win. I'd say JD, Sea and Puma are the wild-cards, Taeja, Stephano, HerO are your depth. The rest are your practice partners.

You can in no way make an intelligant argument that those players are currently more skilled then TaejA and HerO, A few of them sure, but in no way 2 in EACH team. Thats just silly.

I think the problem is less so that EG-TL didn't have their ace players (I woulda enjoyed seeing Sea play, though), but the Proleague lends itself to map snipers. Even as rounded and good as HerO, Stephano, and Taeja are, they may be easily sniped in a BO1 by someone who's practiced a single strategy on a single map over and over.

Uh, Taeja can win all his matches in proleague and the team can still get crushed. This isn't the all-kill format...yet, so you technically can't rely on one guy to carry the team. Everyone is throwing out the same excuse that they're missing their big top 3 players but in this format if everyone don't perform well, it won't mean anything.

They don't get monetary earnings except the top dogs. They get to barely scrape by. Their contract requires them to live like laborers for the glory of the sponsors.
