Does that mean that even if Vibe loses to MMA, he will still be able in the wildcard bracket...?

That seems like it's punishing the players who did better and just so happened to get the same spread. Shouldn't the people with lower spreads (+1) get booted instead of the tie-breakers between the two better players? And why doesn't Dark have to do a tie-breaker? Is it just completely random? This whole thing doesn't make any sense to me. Someone care to explain? This is just for seeding, nobody is booted out. I saw Arthur/Oz once and assumed that each of the tie-breakers being played mean the loser is out of the bracket. Thank you for clarification. ![]()

Like, say Naniwa beats Oz. Would he go to face Polt, as the #16 seed, or would he go to play Arthur, like that graphic seems to suggest. If the latter, it seems unfair to me that Polt would face anyone other than the lowest seeded wildcard player to advance. Edit: The way Gretorp is talking makes it seem like the matches are set based on the graphic. This disappoints me a lot and makes no sense.

If the number 1 seed gives a walkover in the first round then the next opponent gets a really lucky matchup. It's like that in every sport that I've seen, except for rare exceptions where they reorganize by seed. That doesn't happen very often though.

The winners of the wildcards are re-ranked based off of their seed in the wildcards and then inserted into the playoffs based on that ranking(ranked 1-8). Polt faces whoever is the lowest ranked wildcard seed coming out of the wildcards no matter what, does that help?
