actually swarm hosts are pretty easy to beat, you can see mkp has barely played. At first i thought SH was really imba. then when i found out all you need to do is have a couple siege tanks mowing down the waves, then advancing after the wave is cleaned up slowly and resiegeing. Unless the zerg also retreats, You can out right kill the hosts ez

I believe Browder is on the record saying they will rework the Raven along with other units such as the Void Ray.

One thing none of these guys are doing is burrowing their swarm hosts at different times, if you do it right you can have an endless wave of units.

I also imagine that constantly unburrowing and repositioning Swarm Hosts when their spawners are on cooldown could also be a powerful tactic since they're essentially sitting ducks during that period.

We are almost done designing the new units. Now we are considering to completely re-design several units such as Void-ray and Raven.

in that case, you only unsiege a few to advance them instead of all. Its the same approach on how to counter them. Just saying its very easy for the terran to beat. SH aagainst protoss on the other hand i think is abit harder for them

I guess it depends on what kind of units each player has out, if Zerg has viper they can pull the tanks into the range of locusts.

Yeah. I mean I haven't had much time with HoTS outside of a little experimentation but from what I have managed and seen from pros they don't feel like they'd be very effective against terran at all. Terran having the most ranged units for the locusts and an instant detection for killing the hosts seems like a direct counter to the design of the unit. Who knowns though, I mean I never would've thought banelings would be good against protoss in WoL.

So far I think the SH shines the most in ZvZ.

Phoenix + Oracle double stargate build seems pretty good, this is the second time I've seen it now.

Hmm, Jangbi didn't execute it the same as Parting did, though. Stopped making Phoenix at 1.

Leenock doing a good job of deflecting this Oracle harass with ease, and a Nydus is on the way.
