This is what happens when both of our races are designed around a band-aid spell instead of being diverse and having synergy. FF and Fungal are either extremely OP or underpowered. You couldn't fix either without totally redesigning the race.

WC3 is really good actually. I was watching some games with Moon vs an Orc player, I remember once there was a blade master that got into his base but he managed to trap the blade master in his base by building a wall. He continously microed his Wisp (while doing other stuff with his heroes else where) all around the blade master. Whenever the blade master tried to harass the gold mine, he would unload wisps from the gold mine and make it repair (same with all other structures). THEN IT GOT TO THE POINT where the orc player wanted the blade master to die (so he could revive it and get it out of Moon's base). So, the orc player ordered the blade master to get hit by the the Night Elf buildings (some night elf structures, ones with "Ancient" in their name, can function as both a structure and a unit that can attack). So the blade master was slowly dying from the Night Elf building (that's what the orc player wanted, since the blade master was stuck in Moon's base)... then (like a boss) moon starts queuing upgrades (unused ones) on all his ancients to prevent them from attacking (Night Elf structures can't attack when they're researching an upgrade or producing a unit). So basically, the Orc player was LOCKED DOWN! He wanted to harass those wisps? Nope, they'll go into gold mines or go into some far to reach trees. He wanted to harass the gold mine or the ancients? Nope, unload wisps, repair, load - rinse and repeat (the blade master isn't fast enough to attack the wisps). He wanted to escape? Nope, MOON WALLED HIM IN. He wanted his blade master to die (so he could revive it and get him free)? NOPE, HE QUEUES ON ALL HIS ANCIENTS SO THEY STOP ATTACKING THE BM!!!!1111 Seriously, that was one epic WC3 game. It was cast by Rotterdam too. tl;dr - Yes, WC3 is definitely a hard game. While it is slower paced and there's more time to think about strats and stuff in the game (since units don't die in 5 seconds from colossus like in SC2), it's still a deep and complex game. In terms of competitive games - I say a game is competitive if it can have consistency (if one person can maintain top place for example). A game that isn't truly competitive is is more volatile and random basically (that means the game depends either solely on luck or the skill ceiling or skill floor isn't high enough). For example, did you know the last three Pokemon tournaments was won by the same guy, three years in a row (at least I think >.>)? Pokemon Bonjwa or Pokemon Master?
