Well there you have it boys. This and the fact that patchzerg isn't a thing anymore. Now it's foreign zerg who are clearly competing on the same level as Code A koreans. This is ESWC. The only French Zergs that were in the playoffs are Minimath and Stephano. The only player to beat a Code A Korean was SortOf, a Swedish patch Zerg. I agree the Swedish scene is very strong. Edit: I suppose you were referring to Neoangel. My bad :o. I didn't realize it was two different thoughts. I my opinion for pro scene it goes like this : Sweden > Ukraine > Russia > Germany > Finland > France (just Stephano, Feast, Adel and Dayshi) = rest of EU but for Amateur scene it's Sweden > Germany > Russia > France > Rest of EU. Polish scene is much stronger than Finnish, and French too btw. Even Spain would be before Finland.

You can't take Feast. That's so unfair to Belgium.

So, can we already agree this is one of the worst tournaments ever ?

If Stephano wins 3rd place, he will be 4th best overall in terms of earnings.

Lmfao, don't make me laugh. EG sent Stephano to ESWC instead of MLG to maintain his reputation, as they knew he hadn't the slightest chance against world class players, and he STILL loses. I really hope this puts some of the insane Stephano fanboyism to rest.
Hell, he's what the 3rd or 4th best player here? and people can make good arguments that Nerchio is better than him anyway.
Stephano is a world class player, stop hating when he's proved it time and time again that he is among the best.

I cannot believe that Mana beat Stephano. I wish I didn't miss the games

Second time in a few months that Stephano loses to MaNa in a big european tournament.

Really liking neoangels BO so far. Nice usage of building placements too.

For the pro scene, I would put Spain and Poland approximately on the same level slightly above Germany right now.
As for Belgium being incorporated into France, don't see it in the bad way. The EU Francophone scene is pretty much united around France and Feast, ELVIS both were in french teams. So when I say France, I mean the francophone scene.
Hawk's interviewQ:You will be facing the french player NeOAnGeL in the Round of 8, what do you know about him ?I watched him play in the french final and…i think he's bad. I'm just honest here, i don't think he was good, he does a lot of weird things in the openings that leaves him behind and the only thing was that the zerg player didn't abused it. If you know what to do you should be able to secure the game in the first 7minutes. Well Hawk, I guess sometimes you can be beaten by a lesser player even if you are a zerg.
