WCS is a Blizzard tournament, a multi-billion dollar company that has plenty of resources to support it's own product. 2. WCS is a world-wide tournament that gives players from every region an equal chance to participate in the final event. 3. Blizzard has decided to support a relatively large prize pool for each region which does nothing but help up-and-coming players and the scene by infusing cash into less well-known talent and organizations. 4.
