Type.Real he's been around in European for a while this year most notably came top 4 at IEM sao paulo his PvP is nice while his PvT and PvZ is a hybrid of inca and hongun, DTs and oddest builds ever.

I don't think Mvp will lose a bo5 to any of the patchzergs. Supernova could be a threat, but Mvp is still the favorite.
lololol... patchzergs... so true.
I know this isn't my first time pointing this out, but we used to ban people for crap like this, did we not? This term, "Patchzergs" is basically implying that the zergs who've had [limited] success lately are only successful due to some imbalance, and not by their own merit.
It's underhandedly, in the snide roundabout way, insulting players while also insinuating some balance whine. It'd be garbage posting even in a balance thread, and this isn't even a balance thread.
Really just disappointed. I know we all have our race-bias, but please have the self-awareness to not be a snide d-bag about it.
There was a boom of European Zergs that no one ever heard of performing well after the patch. Coincidence or not, the term patch zergs just applies to the Zergs that have had success only recently. Stating MvP should beat Zergs that have not been dominant for long is not that bad of a statement.
MVP was mainly successful when terran was way OP. Does that make MVP the ultimate patch-player?
mvp was mainly successful when he was able to practice a max of 3h/day than 0h/day oh and he also won gsl with injury not only during but for a long time prior, having huge problems practicing

To clarify viOLet's actual placement of 1st in his group.
Even according to the ESL website rules.
3.18 Ranking If no other rule has been announced for any stage of the IEM, this is the rule to be used. Not the visible ranking on the ESL website but the active ranking rule from the ruleset valid for a match is binding. The Ranking is primarily decided with regards to the number of points that a participant has amassed during the season. A participant will earn 3 points for winning a match, and 1 point for drawing a match. The below ranking priority will come into effect if 2 or more participants are on equal points. If at any point, the number of tied participants is reduced or divided into several groups of tied participants, the still tied participants will in each case be compared again starting with the first point. • Points amassed between the tied participants ('Mini-League') • Score difference between the tied participants ('Mini-League') • Score (number of wins in the Score Difference) between the tied participants ('Mini-League') • LoL only: Higher time coefficient between the tied participants • Overall score difference • Overall score (number of wins in the Score Difference). • LoL only: Higher overall time coefficient • If after all 5 (LoL 7) points the teams are indistinguishable, a decider match or matches have to be played, in an attempt to separate the participants in question. In special cases, the tournament direction can rule on a different way to determine the order in an unsolvable tie (i.e. coin toss)
What they mean by "mini-league" is that only matches between the tied participants are considered. Since it's only between 2 players, it's basically head-to-head
so by points is violet 3-0 by score difference it's violet +1 by score its violet 2-1

Did you contact Carmac?
Im not sure you read the "mini-league" part right (or if im reading it right too).
By my calculations its 1) MVP and Violet both at 13 points 2) MVP is +6 Violet is +3
So MVP is ranked 1 in the Mini-League and Violet is ranked 2
Oh and about your tweet. Head to head results should never come first since it only shows who at that time was better between the two players in this one single match. The score -> points difference -> points difference between 2 players (head to head) ensures that overall better player is placed higher.
Still it would be nice if some IEM admin would post how it should work
