Wow thats quite the turn around from GSL 11-4 KeSPA from the ro32... GSL players have only won 4 games vs KeSPA players since then O_O

Actually I missed Leenock Roro and Reality Puzzle from the original post. I've edited it. Scores are 18-22 now.

Okay people. All this "Elephant" talk is just plain stupid. It's pretty simple that the KESPA player would do well early.

Their opponents have a ton of games they can research which the opponents do not have the same luxury.

Lets give this a month or so and then you can put up the elephant in the room jokes. Remember when foreigners were beating Koreans in SC2 about a year ago? Yeah, now look at it. Swung back the other way.

I'm so fucking sick of these threads. So disgusting everytime a Kespa player wins the troll baiters come out to play. Just fucking cheer for your players you like without insulting literally every player that people who havnt watched much or any BW have followed for 2 years. It is ridiculously disrespectful. I really hope this goes the way of the USA Stephano chants considering how mods looked at that joke.

I don't recall anytime foreigners beating Koreans consistantly.

Cuz the Kespa players have better mechanics than the GSL players, whereas the foreigners have worse mechanics than GSL players. Just look at how Hero held that 4 gate by tails.

To be fair a 3 stalker rush should never ever lose to a 4 gate if executed properly lol, it's like the go to build if you want to hold off gateway aggression.

It's more like their decision making has gone to the crapper. The stress put on them shouldn't affect them this much. Every time they lose I am disgusted by the comments in a LR thread, so I cheer for my GOM players, but this is starting to become old. It's like their internal timers for when hives ++ come out has been replaced with a hello kitty island adventure disc featuring dancing cats meeting a butcher's knife.

You know, TvZ looks more and more like Brood War TvZ every day when I see games like that.

Brood war tvz was a series of early pools? My memories of tvz are slightly different.

I can't tell you how many TvZs ive seen end with the Terran dying because he went for a greedy FE build and the Zerg went for an early build.

You hardly ever saw that in SC2 up until recently, it was a dynamic that's only now become prominent in the metagame. Terrans gotta watch out for that shit, don't just assume every Zerg is gonna 15 hatch you.

It still happens in sc2, just fails most of the time

I know, because only recently has it become more common for Terrans to go for 1 rax expands before second depot or CC first builds in the match up. Prior to the queen change, nearly every Terran opening involved an early wall off, which is why 15 hatching became so dominant.

With the shift in the metagame to more greedy openings from terrans and the Zerg counter of early pool builds, the early game TvZ in SC2 now more closely resembles the one from BW.

True and when Kespa A-Teamers will beat their ex B-Teamers it would be even more fun cuz of repeating karma (beat em in BW and gonna beat em in SC II).

Granted the players you expect to dominate from GOM won and the players that trip over their own feet outside of GSTL did poorly so I'm not terribly surprised. Just pleasantly surprised.

Really happy to see kespa players do so well already, shows that even in sc2 there is a lot of room for improvement mechanics wise.

Comared to the years of vods of the GSL players playing eachother? Half the proleague games i watched were pretty messed up by at least one of the players. I realize they are improving in those matches but it is a bit hard to get a good read off of people who are both playing differently than they might against a player who has more experience in thegame.
