Unless you're scheduling practice partners, outlining a practice schedule, creating the team environment with a house, creating strategies as a coach, and things of that nature, the player himself is primarily responsible for his losses and wins. Now TL and EG do some of these things to some extent. I've heard about TL reviewing opponent's replays for tendencies. EG has a training house. But they don't as much as Korean teams (and even then, for example, MC has shown his success wasn't because of OGS). Taeja was Code S, but I think you give too little credit to the foreign teams. True, they don't and can't micromanage the players or their practice schedule, I'm sure that foreign teams offer much more than you give them credit for. For example, players that don't enjoy the team environment, such as Zenio, as given the opportunity and freedom to practice how they like it. And although Zenio hasn't shown many results lately, being on a foreign team means he is supported until he does. Taeja's success in foreign tournaments should have Liquid credit on it as well. Slayers did not send Taeja to many foreign tournaments now did they? Should Slayer's get the result for Taeja's all kill in GSTL if Liquid does not because rumor has it that Taeja did not live the team house. Team Liquid provides financial support, as well as stability that I'm sure Taeja has benefited from. Similarly, the increased popularity that players receive simply because they are on a team means that their personal value skyrockets. tldr: Team Liquid deserves credit.

Taeja cheesing all 3 games, everyone "so boss, so sexy, damn well" Ok, I agree, but next time when foreigner does this, stop saying he's a stupid cheeser. My own opinion. Are you kidding? It's usually the Koreans who get flak for cheesing. Search for the MVP/Squirtle GSL finals LR thread. Hell, search ANY LR thread with 11/11, or even 1/1/1 if you go that far back.
