antiga is a bad map anyways, dong just need to tone down on the banelings and get a little more control with infestors etc and he'll be owning,

I loved the little groups of lings he was harrassing with, he killed like 3 moving tanks with a pack of lings while managing a drop and stuff

Still, he put up a good fight, had good fungals and that was a horrible map for him... Considering how much he has played he can probably become dangerous if he continues playing.

Jaedong wasn't playing at Code S level that game but he was definitely playing better than some Code A zergs that I've seen, thus I say second or third round.

It's still just one game, but that was just my judgement of that game only.

Mah.... I don't get all the complain about muta stacking... I mean, isn't one of the first joke BW fan make about SC2 is that all unit stack together? How is it fine if it's muta?

broodlords arent exactly good to help securing your 4th imo. you need ultras on antiga to secure mapcontrol and the middle position to then later switch to broods i guess


You can take the gold on Antiga with broodlord infestor, easiest secured 4th base there is. And also deny the Terrans 'easy' 4th in the middle. I just think he was very behind to begin with.

Random thought, why don't people use Broodlords like people used to use Guardians? People used to morph Guardians right by the enemy base, but people seem to morph the really slow Broodlords in their own base.

Corrupters in the southern main into Broodlords to attack Alive's third would have been amazing.

To be as un-biased as possible I must say that JD showed glimpses of brilliant play. Did you guys not see the Baneling/Ling micro against Rines and Tanks. He was quite effiecent. His creep spread

To give Alive a Code S player such a hard match is quite a feat. Alive played superbly well, and with multibronged attacks with that macro would be fully capable of taking out the likes of DRG/Stephano.

I am quite impressed.

One thing JD did pretty damn well was the constant lings harrass the tanks at the back of Alive's army, its a very nice touch.
