Not quite Code S level, his drop management wasn't that good and his decision making with banelings was... average to say the least. But still, not a bad showing at all.
That may be the most arbitrary ranking system to judge a progamer's skill I have ever seen.

lol the reaction to announcement for JD compared to Alive.

One thing's for sure, Jaedong is a hell of a lot better now than he was around a month ago.

Many BW fans will be easily impressed by BW players in the coming month, just like many sc2 fans is easily impressed by foreign players. Jaedong did put up much more of a fight than I expected him to, he's quite good for being relatively new to the game.

People just blindly read Kespa vs GOM games as Kespa automatically having perfect mechanics but not understanding the game at all. JD read that game perfectly fine, he knew what to do, its just his late game execution that failed him. It'll come with time, but people who just blindly assign great mechanics but terrible knowledge to the Kespa are just being lazy imo.

Which is why there is no muta stacking

Nestea blows tanks with banelings every zvt I see of him, liquid hero got fucked by building placement at asus just this weekend and every single zerg misses landmines... He didn't play like god, but given how long he has been playing this game and given who he is playing against he looked really good.

Apart from banelings on tanks (and to be fair to JD he had barely any lings so I think he was forced to use banelings on tanks) they are minor mistakes. How is it JD's fault for bad pathing? :/

aLive is so predictable. Xx He 2rax the second game against zerg almost every serie.

Jaedong putting up a fight against one of the best terrans is impressive.
|
Jaedong's tech timings were not very good. He started the infestor upgrade energy but didn't have the gas to build infestors until after it finished. He only built corruptors after his greater spire completed, but should have done so earlier.

Broodlords are insanely strong on Antiga. Its just nonsense that they suck because of mobility reasons. If you have the economy to back them up, broodlord infestor can camp the middle of antiga and completely dictate the game. You don't need to send away all infestors or all lings to clear out drops and from the middle you have the chance to move towards every direction an attack can come from. That plus the fact that you can use spore + spine crawlers to slow down or prevent drops makes it very strong. It might be correct that going for broodlords first is not as strong but calling them out as week on antiga is wrong.
broodlords arent exactly good to help securing your 4th imo. you need ultras on antiga to secure mapcontrol and the middle position to then later switch to broods i guess

That's such an incredibly narrow-minded thing to say. No sane person expected JD to beat a player of Alive's caliber at this stage, what we're looking for is incremental improvement.
Only a sith sees deals in absolutes my friend.
