cheating has nothing to do with it, even if it did, how does casting from replays minimize cheating? it's a scheduling thing of course, it's hell to organize live online tournaments, atm it's 5AM in seoul and 11pm in helsinki (where sase and mana would play their games if they were live) and the games haven't even started yet.

If its casted live you can just have a friend check out what your opponent is doing from the stream and tell you everything about it. Duh.

Does anyone know how old these games are? I understand the casting from replays but how older the games are, the less fun it becomes.

Incredibly recent. We always strive to play the games as close as possible to the broadcast

Really appriciate the (oficial) answer. However this still doesn't say all that much. Is incredibly recent a week? A day? an hour?

If you could I would really like an average or atleast some kind of figure you strive for when you decide to let the games be played.

It was said last week that for example the Elfi games were played a few days before the weekend, but the Ret ones were played on the day before.

even if the whole idea of TSL level players cheating wasn't so inane, it's one strike and you're out, career over.. that's why there is a thing called delay which is used in live tournaments/streams, y'know.

It's so recent they have to wait for the last series to end.

Everyone is right. Cheating is definitely a concern, which is why we only allow official obs when the games are played and why we move to a cast-from-replays format during the TLOpens. But it is also more convenient for the players, and allows us to schedule it so that the conditions are as good as we can get for everyone. It also means if there is lag we can resolve it/delay the match etc. Essentially its all about creating the fairness and most convenient format for the players.

Regarding SaSe, I don't know I didn't schedule anything this week.

Sometimes a player needs to hide his strat/cheese for longer than 2 mins.

My predictions

Hack 3-2 Mana
Prime 3-1 Select
Daisy 0-3 First
Sase 3-2 Coca (even though it will most likely be 3-0 for coca, but I believe !)

Why say it's live for the past twenty minutes when it isn't?

There are some very well known players who got caught cheating, they are now playing and enjoying admiaration of the comunity. Its not "no strike You are out policy", and really if You dont get how much of advantage stream cheating would get You (especially on this level of play) then onve again, tough luck for You dude. Nothing to add.
