I don't know if they do, but if casters watch the replays before the live broadcast it definitely helps them to notice the key moments in the match and thus they don't "get caught" by surprise during the live show. If they miss a big drop or something like that, I'd hate them D:

cheating has nothing to do with it, even if it did, how does casting from replays minimize cheating? it's a scheduling thing of course, it's hell to organize live online tournaments, atm it's 5AM in seoul and 11pm in helsinki (where sase and mana would play their games if they were live) and the games haven't even started yet.


If its casted live you can just have a friend check out what your opponent is doing from the stream and tell you everything about it. Duh.

There are some very well known players who got caught cheating, they are now playing and enjoying admiaration of the comunity. Its not "no strike You are out policy", and really if You dont get how much of advantage stream cheating would get You (especially on this level of play) then onve again, tough luck for You dude. Nothing to add.

name a few with the requirements that they were successful before and after getting caught cheating. with money on the line of course.

other than that i've no interest in arguing this, the risk of cheating in TSL-level play is very, very low even if it's non-zero, and the consequences for getting caught of foul play for players of this level are simply too high to make it anything but retarded to attempt cheating. it's common sense that the primary reason for replay casts is sheduling, since it's a huge issue, unlike concerns of cheating.

I think it might work best for the observers to watch ahead of time, but the casters to cast live. Either way Hot_Bid is a badass. He should play cricket, since unlike Chill he never gets out...

I think these players are pretty equally matched, so whoever prepared more for their opponent specifically should have the advantage. I'd guess that's Mana.

That would make more sense i think, i like it when caser get suprised when things happen. If they knew like amazng storms were about to happen for example, they migh not have as "good" a reaction as they might have if its a complete suprise
