If Naniwa had 2 more sentries and had been able to split the army of DRG during the battle on the highground on Antiga. That would have made that Battle a lot more one sided for Naniwa and he would not have lost his immortals. This was the worst possible opponent for Naniwa and it went to the final game. If he had won on Antigua I think Naniwa would had a good chance on the title. so basically "i know Jinro has gotten better results in GSL then Naniwa but i dont like Jinro so lets just ignore him" you cant just ignore Jinro, hes gotten the best results in the GSL of any foreigner ever it;s the same thing as saying Jakji's performance was better than FruitDealer's.
or that Squirtles performance was better than Incas
i mean who knew that winning the game when it's far more developed, with far better players, means that you're more impressive?

Naniwa is making Ro8 Code S twice in a row and will be in Code S next season too. I'm not even a fan of Naniwa but you can't deny that the guy has balls of steel and is easily one of the best protoss in the world. Idra isn't even the best US zerg these days.

Still not sure about his vP too but his mindgames will give him and edge for sure. He won quite a a bit of TvP with just his ghost control. It was a pleasure to watch. I know he's really good, the question is more: Is his TvP GSL champion lvl. and i'm not 100% sure about that. i think it is :D he took out parting, squirtle, ace, seed, genius, etc lots of great PvTers
i hope you're right, would be pretty cool to see Z and P reaction if a T wins once again the GSL :D

Not that my input on the matter really counts, but I just want to say that I think that's a totally fine stance to take. What's frustrating is when people refuse to acknowledge good play from him BECAUSE they don't like him. Don't like him? Alright, that's fine, he's not the most lovable personality and has been worse in the past, apparently. But trying to say stuff like, "He got a seed so he doesn't really count as Code S because he never earned it" after two great runs in the hardest tournament in the world? That gets a bit frustrating, because at that point it just feels like blind hatred and you can't even talk about anything.
And yeah, sad that Nani lost, but if DRG takes this tournament, geez... Losing in the Ro8 to the eventual champions twice in a row? :-p And to be fair, DRG is pretty beastly, and Nani took him to game five. On top of which everyone was saying how Nani was only doing so well because he was lucky enough to avoid most zergs. So, not a bad showing -- yeah, he'll have to do better if he wants to win Code S next time, but if he keeps up his current level of play he could actually have a good shot at it.

Sweden-based posters reminds me of english fans after a defeat of their national squad at football. Too many "if" in all their posts.
About the best foreigner title, i have a question. What builds were created by Naniwa? I only remember the 3 stalker opening in PvP, but i'm not even sure if he invented it. Naniwa seems to be excellent at executing build orders, but he doesn't seem as creative as MC (how many two bases all-in has he invented?) or Stephano in the foreign scene (he literally changed the entire way you play PvZ with his 200/200 max roach army in the 11 minute, and he reintroduced ultras in standard zerg play).

This ^^. Everyone else plays under the same conditions so what Jinro did was impressive. Of course the game will change and players get better. It would be like saying someone who qualified for the latest BW OSL has better performance than Boxer. Because from a pure gameplay stand point, they are probably right.
