Some of the posts here are awaking the rage monster in me... It was a fucking smile! You win, you are happy, you smile. How is that difficult for people to understand? I was smiling like an idiot, why would not he smile? After all, he just beat the most successful protoss in the history of SC2. No big deal, huh. Plus, he was smiling after each of his wins, you cannot possibly make the argument that he did it just to disrespect MC. And the thumb down? Do i really have to remind the times when MC himself did it?
Every time there is a reason for positive emotions, regardless of the player, regardless of the tournament, regardless of the race (both irl and ingame), there will be people who will try to downplay the player's success and find negative things to say. Every single time. It's absolutely disgusting!

Nonsense. MC played really well and Nerchio beat him. Give the man some credit, he just beat the bosstoss. I just said he was extremely hot this tournament, how is that not giving credit? Nothing about MCs play showed any sign of his normal dominant play. It looked almost as if it was Mvp playing and trying to win as quickly as possible while failing miserably. Dude, you're saying MC wasn't playing well. How is that not taking away credit from Nerchio? Stop being a fan for a second and open your eyes. You're making stuff up to make you feel better about his loss. It isn't taking away anything from Nerchio. Nerchio playing well and MC playing bad is within the realm of possibilites. Nobody is saying there's no way Nerchio couldn't beat him if MC was on his top level.
It's just analysis man, if you watch MC's games regularly you know that series clearly wasn't his best. Doesn't mean Nerchio wasn't great. He played excellent SC2 there. Both things can coexist, doesn't say anything bad about the winner.

It looks bm to me. Maybe I'm the only one but that's my impression. People like you should go out, and stop watching SC2. What ? Just because I say I'm not really fond of someone's smile ?? I like Nerchio man, nothing against him. I just said that this smile was so much like him making fun of his opponent. Trolling and provocation is really normal, but you have to do it in a certain way, in front of your opponent and not like this, smiling alone as if you were making fun of your opponent. Now maybe I'm thinking too much, but I know asian people (I'm not but I've lived in Japan for 8 years) actually really really care about that. You can make fun, troll and provoke your opponent, but there is a way to do it. Showing respect is the most important thing. So now it's ok, it's HSC, everyone is having fun and Nerchio certainly did (EDIT: I meant did not) do that on purpose, but still I have the right to give my opinion and say I didn't really liked his smile at that moment. Is this a joke? Do people like you really exist? o_o Sorry but I don't get where is your surprise coming from. Saying a smile after winning is BM is pretty ridiculous though.. I mean.. dude... it's a smile... Alright but you got my explanation right ? Just a small remark man, just a small remark. What about letting me think this and express myself a little bit. There is nothing that huge in what I said I mean.
So from what i can gather, in asia that is an insulting gesture after a win. How would you judge MC coming out of his booth in a murloc shirt jumping around in euphoria after a win? Respecting his opponent? Just curious

Hmm...who to cheer for? You do realize that HerO absolutely destroyed DRG last night? PvZ balance is fine. Sorry. Macro PvZ. I want to be able to do something other than 2base all-in like Hero did. I want to be able to to things like small amounts of zealots to harass as zerg, not turtle 20mins for 15 broods. but protoss is a tech based race, which makes timings awesome. terran is a heavy turtle(mech) or heavy harass(bio) race, aiming the throw protoss timings and zergs macro off. and zerg is a macro race, trying to sneak a lot of drones because if you don,t you don;t have a macro advantage while protoss has their tech and terran their harass advantage. TL;DR: races are different. I don't want to make this a balance whine, so I'm just going to say this is nonsense and there are plenty of ways to play PvZ, from Mutas to turtling.

lol this thread is extremely comical and humorous. The only sad part is that a lot of these people are actually serious about what they say.

ToD always looks high, younger brother of Jim Breuer?

jep, but not in the way protoss can build units for light harass while building probes, with zerg it;s mostly extremes, either you macro up or you go allin, there's rarely anything in between (maybe the only exception is mutas in zvp )

In any real sport people will celebrate after a victory. Why should it be different on sc2?
The comment you are referring to was worst than getting cannon rushed on ladder.

I'm not actually a "fan" and have no real favorites and hate absolutely no one in the scene (Although I dislike NaNi's attitude, he's a very good player) I look at every match objectively and if you can't see that MC was playing poorly then you are the one being a "Fan" that should "open his eyes"

How is smiling BM? If I beat MC in a ladder match i'd smile, if I beat him on a bo5 for some serious money, well now.
