No, you compare (maps won) - (maps lost), and if that's equals you compare head to head, where Mini won.

4-3 is a better mapscore then 5-4, so he advances over Tod.

In this case, they're equally good map scores, it's because Mini won head to head that he advances.

Actually, it only goes by head to head if the map scores are equal.
