With post #1000 (^_^) Gratz
I would be terrified of lurkers. Depending on their range and if they were still morphed from hydras they would just be ripped even harder by colossuses.

honestly players like seal, symbol, and curious are better than Stephano in every matchup.
Tournaments like this are so much different than GSL because no one is preparing for Stephano.
I really think he competed in the GSL he would be demolished down to Code B almost immediately. Making comments like that is pretty ignorant. Until Stephano plays in GSL you wont know if these results will translate over. He is VERY good. I'm not even a huge Stephano fan but anyone saying otherwise is lying to themselves. Then shouldn't he actually play in the GSL? Whats stopping him. What was the last thing big tourney Stephano won? The better question is, what was the last big tourney other NA/EU players finished better than Stephano in? That would be a good question if GSL was only played by NA/EU players. Hint: It isn't. Stephano will get crushed. The only foreigners who could compete are Thorzain and Naniwa. Why is Stephano getting this kind of treatment after 2-0 Parting and 2-3 MC. Because people are stupid as hell. :/ Because every foreigner gets this treatment, and rightfully so. The GSL is the toughest tournament in the world, and until you've seen how someone performs over there you can't say for sure how they'll measure up. Naniwa went through this plenty. Why is Stephano any different? Nani of course went on to - eventually - prove himself in the GSL after a few embarassments. Stephano might well perform better than Nani. But we don't know. and maybe koreans are favourised beacause they play on their own soil, just maybe.... Yes, like NA players at MLG lol lol possibly the best quote of the thread xD

Why Squirtle decided moving his WHOLE ARMY to the watchtower was a good idea, I don't know.
I've also found myself watching the whole tournament mostly muted (except the Husky solo cast, funnily enough). I honestly prefer casters to just do play-by-play with random tangents if they don't know their shit, because there's nothing more annoying than false hype and over-exaggeration of irrelevant crap. At this point, I prefer TB to Day9, at least the former doesn't pretend to know stuff.

Nah, bro... In any of the original (blue/red/yellow) you should go catch a Nidoran and level it. It will get double kick, which is super effective against rock. And with horn attack and upgrades to Nidorino and Nidoking (available from moonstone) I actually think it's a funnier alternative - and it's really strong

tbh PvT is the only slightly vulnerable matchup of Squirtle.
He just seems to have a bit of troubles against Macro heavy Terrans such as Bomber, MVP and aLive.
Wouldnt really call that an upset, tho I had some money on Squirtle. Bomber just knows him very very well, afterall they practice together since ages now.
