incoming stephano fans rage?
MC playing standard totally destroyed Stephano. Stephano fans never rage at all. top 4 is a good performance Top 4 not too shabby. Somewhat disappointed that the better player lost Good timings and mix of builds from MC. He simply out maneuvered Stephano over the course of the series. It's easy to give advice in hindsight, but Stephano really should do everything in his power just to take games to the late game. Let MC get his third. MC techs too slowly and is not good at all in late, late game situations. He's very, very good up until that point though. Time for MC to lose to Squirtle now I guess. Diagnosis: Mad

I really think he has to study more diverse strategies for the mid-game to surprise his opponent... If he doesn't do it, his code S spot will no last long...
Now in korea there is a 200/200 roach timing with overlord drop(not even need speed now) that is almost impossible to hold, as you have to defend 3 different places while the ffs are almost useless
IMO this literally is a HUGE problem right now once zergs start learning this
you dont even need roachspeed OR lingspeed, just spend 300/300 on drops and protoss has to defend 3 locations at once while you drop 200food of roach/ling into the toss main at TWELVE MINUTES LITERALLY
honestly lingspeed/roachspeed loses its value after mass forcefields at in play. imo might be better to skip lingspeed and just get droptech for a 200max drop at 12 minutes
this new 200food max + drops strategy thats been going around the korean ladder is KILLER. i agree once stephano starts doing that its gonna be WTFHAX

Why do we need post like these T_T
Hey, Stephano ZvP is really good. ( like the stats show, 72% ) But 72% is not 100% as far as I know, and MC is very good at PvZ. It's normal that it can go eitherway.....

Why do we even need a poll for this? Cause Stephano might be slightly....just slightly overrated. Yes, finally, someone saying the truth. Forget objective measures like Elo.
Yes ELO is a great objective measure...

The 11 min roach max rush is basically the zerg version of 1-1-1, only better and safer as you can still play standard if it didn't outright kill the toss. The other style stephano plays is the mass bl roach infestor ling play which is in late game.
Other than those two styles he is pretty one dimensional. Players of MC and MVP's caliber who can adjust within a series is always going to find a way to win the series whether it be cheese (MVP vs Toss) or just adjusting timings and build orders (MC vs Stephano). .
Stephano rolled MC in game1 with Ling/Infestor and you just go out and say that he's onedimensional and top Koreans read him easily?
On May 28 2012 07:58 power-overwhelming wrote: but MC adjusted fully to Stephanos style and won 5-2.
Yes, and 2 weeks later "adjusted" in getting 0-2'd at MLG and now won because of a 2010 6gate allin and a 124HP-left Nexus.
You're talking as if MC is vastly superior to Stephano, which is not the case.

I think its both. If the two korean players are Smix's height, they're pretty short, and I'm pretty sure Wheat is a decent height himself, maybe 5'10" or 6'

No love for NesTea as well? Nestea is nowhere near as good as those two vs P I'd say Stephano DRG vs toss Leenock DRG vs terran Nestea DRG vs zerg DRG obviously being the best zerg :p viOlet being a third in both ZvP and ZvZ or something.
honestly players like seal, symbol, and curious are better than Stephano in every matchup.
Tournaments like this are so much different than GSL because no one is preparing for Stephano.
I really think he competed in the GSL he would be demolished down to Code B almost immediately.

clearly, I guess TaeJa got to be best Terran in the world?
Oh wait, MVP holds all dat GSL titles....

What the fuck is he talking about? Everyone will always remember how MVP won despite having non functioning wrists and raped 3 STQ protosses in a row to do so.
