Somewhat disappointed that the better player lost Good timings and mix of builds from MC. He simply out maneuvered Stephano over the course of the series. It's easy to give advice in hindsight, but Stephano really should do everything in his power just to take games to the late game. Let MC get his third. MC techs too slowly and is not good at all in late, late game situations. He's very, very good up until that point though. Time for MC to lose to Squirtle now I guess.

Other than those two styles he is pretty one dimensional. Players of MC and MVP's caliber who can adjust within a series is always going to find a way to win the series whether it be cheese (MVP vs Toss) or just adjusting timings and build orders (MC vs Stephano). Stephano fans like to ignore the IPL fight club even though it only happened a month ago, but MC adjusted fully to Stephanos style and won 5-2.

Wasn`t he invited to code S this season? Stephano uses this strategy because its good and he can execute it perfectly... the games were really close. But I agree that to play in Code S he needs to diversify or he will be blind countered every time (and this is not only in ZvP).

Historically Z has probably been more favored in the matchup than P, though both have had month long streaks.

From a low level T point of view, it seems to me that the problem is holding this style as master P in the same way it is to deal with lategame P as a master T. I mean there is obvious happiness for some P players to see this roach style punished, which is a good thing as the mu is terribly boring at the moment, but the porblem if this roach max has been an answer to protoss timing attacks after ffe. PvT & specially PvZ are far from becoming as interesting as TvZ to me as a spectator. In game it is still really nice mus.
