GSL only lasts more than 3 days because they make it so; They make the rounds in different weeks but they could just as well make it in the same day, and don't forget that the players that play in gsl live in Korea, Mlg had to gather all the players which is expensive.

If you bought the combo pass you'd pay 15 bucks (assume you have season pass) for 2x 3 day event, which is right in your target range. I get what you are saying... but I just can't get worked up about it when I'm paying 60$ for gas every week. At least I enjoy these arenas

That should be enough to determine he can play well. He's only like 15, though, so he might have some nerve issues, being overseas for the first time and such, I don't know. Really unfortunate for him, that he had to play Symbol in the first round, I do think he could have beaten a lot of the other opponents.

20$ for one event is way too much money for kids and students. i think most of the starcraft fans are students or young guys with low income, so demanding 20$ is just ignorant.

Goody really had probably the unluckiest bracket. First Ganzi, then he was guaranteed to play either MMA or MC. Poor Panzergeneral, tough luck.
