I think he was one upgrade behind. The thing with Violet's style - and the style of other Korean Zergs in this tournament - is that they make a lot of banelings. This allows them to crush Terran armies mid game cost inefficiently, because with infestor support ling baneling ultra devastates armies but banelings are expensive, which results in less supply. It's an adaptation to the heavy medivac style Terrans are using these days. NA and EU Zergs using Stephano's ling infestor and ling roach infestor style do not do this. They bank a lot of resources for the late game transition which gives them a great late game transition. But they die a lot mid game. | ||
