So did literally everyone else. And he still won 90+% of the time. He just did it better. 4 gate imbalance or not, he was the better player.

That's fine, they don't expect everyone can afford to watch it. They aren't making Pacquiao fights cheaper only because each of his fights in his home country is a national holiday and more than half the country is in poverty, almost everyone still watches. The more expensive the PPV (as long as enough buy them, not everyone), improve the quality of players, enriching all of eSports. Making cheaper just so that more could buy them is not a viable business option, but it won't stop people from complaining.

He was the only Protoss who actually won tournaments, and is still one of the few.

Yeah I had this issue last time around and never heard back from your support when someone said the same in the LR thread. Fixed it then by logging out and back in again on twitch (someone in the LR thread suggested that to me), but no dice this time. Seriously MLG, if this is your 'support', I'm not very hopeful. And now I got an automated response email. Some quality stuff really.
'clear your cookies/cache, use firefox, log out and back in on twitch/mlg'. All done done and done, still I get paywalled as a paying customer. My frustration with MLG's bullshit support is reaching new heights.

The day someone figures out how goody and finnish protosses win is the day the world collapses in on itself.
Never heard of Goody........did you guys mean Ogogo?

Its funny how they charge 20 bucks and give only 10k for the winner. Even smaller tournaments that don`t charge anything pays the same amount or even higher numbers.
What a joke, MLG. Such a greedy company that don`t even care about the prize money to the participants.

so, i bought this gold pass thingy during winter arena, can i watch this?

Basically TvP is the worst matchup in Sc2. Oh well hopefully we at least have a bunch of TvZ, TvT, and ZvPs

Pick your poison.
I believe in the foreigners here. HuK and Socke are my two "upset watch" foreigners (altho, Socke has been playing just so insanely well for months now that it's hardly an upset. Winter Championship and Dreamhack Stockholme being especially good runs).
And Grubby is getting to that threshold of awesomeness too I think.

Pay wall? Well, it was ok while it lasted. I'm not going to pay 20$ for 2 days tho.

I love Bugattis but no one is making them cheaper so I can get a new one every year. Just because you love something, doesn't mean you deserve it.

I, for one, does not like Apollo's obvious hype on European players such as Throzain and Stephano. It's also a cliche saying when Totalbiscuit repeatedly uses that phrase "Korean player X takes a page out of European player Y's book." Really? Isn't that a typical European arrogance? Great event and great players, but the casting choice is a joke.
User was warned for this post who cares if theyre bias, apollo is definitely one of the better casters around BUT THEY ARE TAKING AMERICAN JOBS!!! l.o.l. And women, too!

Any idea how much it costs to fly in 32 players and pay for their hotels? The smaller tournaments you mention do none of that and that's exactly why you see so many more high caliber players here, there's no financial investment for the team or player to go.
