He played really good in that game, jesus. He macro'd really well.* Can't tell how good he'll be (in ZvT), until you see them trying to macro, defend multiple drops and deal with the main army at the same time. Put him against MMA and see how well he fares against his drops of hell. I can guarantee you that macro and multitasking is not what is going to set Effort back, the guy is insane at that. What is going to stop him is decision making and tactics, which the BW pros are less experienced in. "See how he fares against drops" is a silly test if you've ever seen S-class Zergs multitask in BW ZvT. Regardless, we'll see how he does ZvP against Korean GM, though I suspect if he loses it'll surely be decision making and not mechanical execution. agreed. just look at how fast jaedong reacted to a little warp prism warp-in blip during his game. INSTANT reaction. He happened to be controlling those roaches right when the opponent warped the zealots in, though. He was going to move the roaches away at the same time he moved the queen away, but he turned around.

Code A qualifiers are coming up. I'm sure we'll all have the opportunity to see how well they compare very soon. It's pretty absurd to try to judge their ability based on a single performance against another player of unknown ability.

Lol I really don't think the top BW players are even a little bit concerned about a mechanics fight vs the top SC2 players.

Be interesting to see how he matches up against some top SC2 terrans, it's a completely different game for zerg when they get harassed from the get go. lol. So many terrans play defensively on antiga the way flash did, jesus. He just did it wrongly!!!

I would probably expect a lot of them to try to go for the next code A though.

He took his third with 20 lings and no spines... Once his production kicked it, not much any Terran can do Effort played well but it was nothing special. Flash just let him get away with it. flash had extreeemely fast third, he just chose to not pressure, you dont actually NEED to pressure zerg if your eco is going to be that high Indeed. What Flash failed at, or what Effort did well, was simply scouting the Rax into 3CC build. And Effort immediately played very greedy from there. All one can say is that effort's corner cutting was perfect in that game. As for where that ranks him, I have no clue.
