i dont think kespa players can compete in GSL can they?

Who said they can't?

Some kind of exclusivity, I've heard this as well.

Effort played well - but any zerg plays well vs no harassment. Be interesting to see how he matches up against some top SC2 terrans, it's a completely different game for zerg when they get harassed from the get go.

lol. So many terrans play defensively on antiga the way flash did, jesus.

He just did it wrongly!!!

exactly, watch some games with MVP going pretty much the same build but with more tanks.. i believe it was vs july this last season in code s. It was horrible to watch july go up against that wall and do nothing because tanks on high ground + bunkers on low ground makes it murder.

Flash's style is his BW style, but in SC 2 it's Bomber's style as well. The greedy opening, the reliance on marines, the low tank production - it's all there.

Someone tell him to do the mass rax Sauron Terran style that Bomber does

Who said they can't?

They are salaried players practicing for leagues their team and sponsors get exposure in, i.e., KeSPA leagues.

They can, GSL won't stop them, Kespa said they want to all work together and if it is true I imagine they will allow it.

players that play BW must play SC2 in the next match. and vice versa.

flash had extreeemely fast third, he just chose to not pressure, you dont actually NEED to pressure zerg if your eco is going to be that high

Indeed. What Flash failed at, or what Effort did well, was simply scouting the Rax into 3CC build. And Effort immediately played very greedy from there. All one can say is that effort's corner cutting was perfect in that game.

As for where that ranks him, I have no clue.

IMO you need to put on some sort of pressure while getting a fast 3rd. Flash literally just made marines/medivacs then tanks, which tbh is not a great way to play TvZ. If he had used something like fOrGG's hellion/banshee pressure while getting a fast 3rd and double upgrades, then he would have at least forced the zerg to react to things instead of just making 90 drones then units.

Thats corect i believe. Still doesn't disprove his point hto. it would make more sense to sac the BW set.

It's not even like he was in a bad position, he had only one bunker and his tanks were not sieged when the first attack hit, he could have held it. need to watch some mvp vods of how he holds that bust on that map. 3 bunkers and more tanks with units pre spread.

If Flash had played that more turtlish, effort would've simply not attacked like that. Flash left things mobile because he wanted to be mobile. He probably just didn't expect zerg macro to hit that quickly.

That's true but they can also just sit out for that match as well, and then participate in whichever they did the previous time I think. So like SC2, sit out, SC2.. or BW, sit out, BW, etc.
