Impossible to say for sure without seeing him play against a known SC2 player - but based on that game he looked like he could be at Code S level. IMO it's impossible to tell because flash put on literally no pressure. with no pressure any average zerg can max out like he did and then roll a terran who doesn't have a high tank count or any marauders/ doesn't split his marines well. Its not just the no pressure that caused that. It was also the low tank count for that point in the game.

High Code A, maybe low Code S. Mechanics definitely top tier. Which orifice did you pull that out from? It's just been 1 match :/ Lol, this is true. We do not have enough information yet. One ZvT decided by a midgame attack is not much to go on.

He played really good in that game, jesus. He macro'd really well.* Can't tell how good he'll be (in ZvT), until you see them trying to macro, defend multiple drops and deal with the main army at the same time. Put him against MMA and see how well he fares against his drops of hell. I can guarantee you that macro and multitasking is not what is going to set Effort back, the guy is insane at that. What is going to stop him is decision making and tactics, which the BW pros are less experienced in. "See how he fares against drops" is a silly test if you've ever seen S-class Zergs multitask in BW ZvT. Regardless, we'll see how he does ZvP against Korean GM, though I suspect if he loses it'll surely be decision making and not mechanical execution. Yeah considering most BW games end up having 3-4 skirmishes at the same time across the map at all times later in the game I don't think it would be a problem at all for Effort to defend against drops. It's just the strategy and decisionmaking that will take time.

INSTANT reaction. | ||

It's really hard to say without seeing more but he's clearly really good and better than Flash at the moment. Effort played smart, made all the right decisions, and didn't screw up. And he won. Flash let him get away with murder, but effort knew exactly what he could get away with, and did. The game didn't test him very much though, so it's hard to know.

Considering the situation Effort was in he did the correct choice.
