Also I like that MVP was able to stomp so hard even after being quite sick in China a few days earlier, losing to Moon in that tournament.

What is the tournament in China? I can't find it on Liquipedia.

Found that for you

I don't care! Better player won, that's it!

Hope he will crush Parting, too.

Smarter, not better. I totally agree with what MVP did, he's there to win and thus, did exactly what he had to. But to me, it doesn't make him a better player.

MVP Interview:
You relied heavily on strategy not once but twice. Was it because of your wrist? Some other problem?

I am of the opinion that you should be punished for risky play. If you get greedy with me, you will get punished. Naniwa is a player who has a risky early game and gets a good economy. Those strategies were a response to that.

Imagine a scenario where MVP lost to Naniwa in 3 games like those. Post game interview (if happened):

Question: You relied heavily on strategy not once but twice. Was it because of your wrist? Some other problem?
MVP: Well you know, I've been having problems practicing because of my wrist injury, so I could not play macro games as I would be in a disadvantage.

Of course, if you win, you say that you predicted greedy play and countered it. If someone can check it, for sure Bit didn't say he did what he did because he is a bad player compared to everyone else, but because he was outsmarting other players XD

Well, Parting vs Oz was onesided indeed. Really weird games.

MVP just handled the situations better and set them up perfectly. Not to say that the games were especially beautiful.

Cheese or not, a win is a win. If you lose a Bo5 to all ins, it means you weren't prepared/your builds and your mentality were too easy to exploit, and you're not good enough of a player. Notice how Leenock beat Naniwa the same way at MLG Providence? Gratz to MVP.

Can't wait for parting to DESTROY MVP in the RO4. It's going to be glorious.

The difference between if NaNiwa won with cheese against Mvp is that Mvp is known and has proven he is the very best when it comes to macro mechanics and late-game pushes, his late-game stats echo that when they throw it up on the GOM cast.

Mvp cheesing just to me signifies that he is a completely well-rounded player, who is unpredictable, it also might indicate that he doesn't want to play long games because of his wrists, but the fact is Mvp is and always has been a better player than NaNiwa.

"I am of the opinion that you should be punished for risky play. If you get greedy with me, you will get punished."

Did you guys cry when Leenock exploited Naniwa's predictable play at Providence as well?

Naniwa is nothing special. The reason why he has such a strong mid/late game is because he plays so greedy in the early game. If he didn't cut so many corners he wouldn't die to cheese but he also wouldn't be so dominating in the later game. Of course, you guys don't realize that because you have 0 understanding of the game.

Naniwa fans are so funny.

They support a player who says he only cares about winning but when Mvp wins with cheese builds they complain about him not showing good games.

I'm sure when Naniwa did the 2 gate proxy vs Nestea at MLG Arena you were all saying Nani is a genius for predicting and punishing Nestea's greedy hatch first.

damn PartinG looking serious this season.

MVP will find a much tougher challenge in him than against the overrated Swede.

Tomorrow is Team Liquids turn, and I think at least HerO should advance there.

Nailed it. Kids, please appreciate how beautiful the game is, instead of just blindly hating on dudes. Play greedy, get punished. Play safe, then you have to hope your opponent isn't playing greedy.

Game of Drones / Game of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Macro Macro Macro for a baseline advantage, then duel it out in other aspects like strategy + micro.
