Now I can't wait to watch the vods He did play very well, although MKP tilted quite a lot during the last series.

Quite surprising. Agreed, especially since he's been on fire recently in so many other tournaments. People have to realize that Code A isn't what it used to be. If you bounce back immediately it doesn't really matter. and if you fall down from round 16 you only have to win two games to get back into code S... it really depends who you get because if Kong was in another group he could have end up maybe vs Nestea or MMA or Line,Byun,Jjakji ? Those are not ez wins... The level of both tournaments is really high and you might end up in Code B vs guys like Clide,HuK,YoungHwa and whole top200 KR + b-teamers. So he has to play really good to come back.

It was really really hard to be a Marineking anti-fan for the last couple of months.
Today was so sweet.

Today was so sweet. Comments like these make me want to throw up. This guy, despite having had by far the best results so far in 2012, is still being called out by everyone saying he needs to win a GSL. You can see how hard he tries, and how emotionally crushed he was after the defeats. If that makes you happy, something is wrong. I, personally, dont get the whole thing of rooting against someone.

Glad that Parting advanced but sad that MKP couldn't advance as well. Great games in general in this group.

Parting is the first Korean player I really want to root for. He's amazingly good and makes moves that no other Protoss is.
Shades of BeSt, warping in 20 zealots at a time vs. TheStC game 1.
Also, screw MKP. Guy gets oooo-o-o-wned with micro in set1 and wants to call down a bunch of mules when he wins on a bio timing in set2? Alright buddy.

Lots of players play their heart out, and some people find it a bit immature when he cries every time he loses. Some people think he should man up. Granted, his emotions after a game don't mean he's a bad player inside of the game (unless it puts him on tilt, like perhaps what we saw today), but some people are put off when he acts that way. Some people.

What?
I didn't realize it's not okay to cheer against certain players. It happens in all sports.
I like MKP but I understand those who don't. They're not cheering for his emotional distress, they're hoping for him to lose a SC2 set. It's not their fault if MKP ends up in tears (which is perfectly fine too, as he is passionate about winning).
That's like saying we can't root against anyone who gets emotional after losses.

Or that there are at least 50 players who work about as hard as MKP, and none of those players need to whimper after being eliminated from a tournament.
My experience from watching BW (and most any other competition, really) is that Champions only cry when they win Championships.

He cries more than he really needs to, but there were a couple of situations (like that loss in the last GSTL vs MVP when MKP choked so hard) where it was completely understandable.
