There was a bit of rivalry between him and Kas, as well as the rookie ace Illusion, the breakout return of Demuslim, and the wild cards Lucifron, Happy, and BeastyQT. Thorzain was in a results slump for a while, but a DH victory breaks him out of that

Wolf and Apollo are arguably one of the best combos in the business after seeing them this weekend, I don't think the casting suffered at all. Incontrol did great too. Alot of times interviewers are pretty regrettable.
Yeah Incontrol did an amazing job, I hope he does more casting/hosting in the future.

What? Havent you heard that school is preventing people from singing the national anthem cause its racist?
The only time we are allowed to be patriotic is during sports events.

Fantastic event. The only thing I could think of to improve would be an updated summary of "which-game-on-which-stream" on their website. Other than that, I liked everything about it. Technical difficulties were rare, the casters were entertaining and knowledgeable, we had a bunch of exciting games and nearly every match got shown, due to the high number of secondary streams. I'm looking forward to the next Dreamhack already!

so glad dreamhack isn't ppv i dont think theres even a small chance of it going ppv not as long as they have a paying live crowd and government funding (none of which the arenas have) SVT is goverment founded but they are not giving any money to Dreamhack, they just offered their streaming services for them to use (which is a kind of support but the way you put it indicated money). SVT are picking up anything that is "in the public interests" which apparently eSPORTS is becoming more and more =)
What's SVT?

Everytime I watch Dreamhack events I have that cozzy feeling eSports is globally and extremly big thing, their production and passion level is just huge, I love it and wouldn't miss it for anything.
I can just hope every other tournament/organization will one day, sooner then later, follow amount of awesomeness DH presents to spectators.
And at the end, big gratz to Thorzain even if I am almost Polt's fanboi and wanted so badly him to win this! :-)

Live and learn.. I suspect we'll be seeing fewer Arenas from MLG than they planned. If your PPV event isn't close to as good as a free event like Dreamhack, the laws of common sense say that you're in trouble.
Also, thank God for no f-ing Extended Series. Best event I've seen in a long, long time.

In my experience I have to disagree, I have lived in Sweden for 5 years and haven't seen a single patriot and the ones that are seem to somehow being ashamed of it and called racists. This is actually fairly accurate, I guess it has to do where in Sweden you live as well. It seems like the more south you go, the higher are the possibility of having someone calling you a racist if you're wearing a Swedish flag. Only my experiences though.
1 - It's actualy degrading what real racism is. 2 - Is it "bad" for swedish people to love Sweden? that's just... dumb.

anyway, fantastic event. Edit: nevermind A foreign terran, and I'm pretty sure it is the first time a foreign terran has won anything in about a year.
Kas won Copenhagen games and lucifron won the gathering?

Omg Polt and Thorzain are such badasses. I usually always want the Korean to win and get disappointed when they don't, but this is the first time since HuK's DH win that I didn't care who won. Congrats Thorzain, very well done and very well deserved. ^^
Also great job Incontrol, so funny and amazing! :D

I am no longer rooting for ThorZaIN. That way he will continue to win events.
